    • A variable displacement pump (1) comprises a regulation ring (11) having at least a pair of actuation stages (19, 20), of which a first stage is permanently exposed to pressure conditions of the pumped fluid and is arranged to make the regulation ring (11) move against the action of a spring (23), and a second stage is arranged to act concordantly with the spring (23) in a manner controlled by an electrically-controlled valve (50). A spool valve (40), controlled by the electrically-controlled valve (50) and the pressure conditions of the pumped fluid, is connected between the second stage (20) and the electrically- controlled valve (50) and is arranged to modulate a regulation pressure acting on the second stage (20) depending on a control signal supplied by the electrically-controlled valve (50) and on such pressure conditions. A method for regulating the displacement of such a pump is also provided.

    • A variable displacement vane pump for fluids is provided where displacement regulation is achieved thanks to the variation of the relative eccentricity between a regulation ring (11) in which the rotor (13) is arranged and the rotor itself. In a region of engagement between the external surface (11 A) of the regulation ring (11) and the internal surface (40A) of a chamber (40) inside which the regulation ring (11) moves, a plurality of rolling elements (25), mounted in fixed relative position, is provided. The rolling elements (25) are provided only over a portion of such a region of engagement, including a zone (S) where a resultant of mechanical and fluidic forces generated in the pump during the regulation acts. The invention also concerns a method of regulating the displacement of such a pump.

    • A braking system for farm tractors and similar vehicles, comprising a differential braking system and a hydraulic system for the braking assistance forming a system unit (H) which includes two circuit branches (H1,H2), each circuit branch operating the braking with respect of one side of the vehicle. According to the invention, to said system unit (H) are applied, through connection interfaces (36,37), two control units (C1,C2), each control unit including an electrovalve (20) and a distributor (24) operated by said electrovalve, each said distributor (24) controlling the operation of the system unit (H) with respect to one of the circuit branches (H1,H2), and each said electrovalve (20) being singularly controlled by an electronic control circuit (EL) provided with sensors (V,R,P,A) of the main vehicle parameters, such as a sensor (V) of the vehicle speed, sensors (R) of the speed of singular wheels, sensors (P) of the positions of the braking pedals and a sensor (A) of the position of the accelerator pedal. In this manner the vehicle is equipped with a function of regulation of the slip in traction (ASR), or with a function preventing the wheel blockage in braking (ABS), or with a function of stability control (ESP), or with several of these and other functions, having a great utility to the aim of security when the vehicle runs on road at a high speed.
