摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an antibacterial and mildewproofing resin composition by mixing a zeolite retaining antibacterial metallic ions with a basic metallic compound. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition comprising a zeolite retaining antibacterial metallic ions and a basic metallic compound. Examples of the antibacterial ions which can be desirably used include ions of silver, copper and zinc. From the viewpoint of antibacterial properties, it is suitable that these ions are contained in an amount of 0.1-15% in the zeolite. Although at most 20% ammonium ions can be contained in the zeolite, it is suitable that the content of ammonium ions in the zeolite is 0.52%, desirably 0.5-2% from the viewpoint of the prevention of discoloration of the zeolite. Examples of the basic metallic compound which can be used include basic zinc carbonate, basic magnesium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide, aluminum hydroxide, calcium hydroxide and zinc hydroxide.

CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains, as an active component, a zeolite having antibacterial metal ion, preferably a zeolite produced by substituting a part of the whole of ion-exchangeable ion in a zeolite with ammonium ion and an antibacterial metal ion. The antibacterial metal ion is, e.g., ion of silver. copper or zinc. A zeolite containing 0.1-15% of silver ion and 0.1-8% of copper or zinc ion is preferable from the viewpoint of antibacterial property. The amount of the ammonium ion is preferably 0.5-2%. The amount of the antibacterial zeolite in the composition is 0.01-50%, preferably 0.02-20%.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an antibacterial double wall aerosol container with a barrier pack as its inner container by forming an antibacterial zeolite-containing coating layer on at least the inner surface of the barrier pack. CONSTITUTION:A coating layer for use on a barrier pack in a double wall aerosol container is of an organic high-molecular compound containing an antibacterial zeolite and it can be used without any restriction, if the antibacterial zeolite is uniformly dispersed. By way of example, the organic high-molecular compound may be polyethylene and polypropylene. The method of forming an antibacterial zeolite-containing coating layer 1 on the barrier pack 2 in the double wall aersol container is not specifically designated and a multiple resin layer 6 is built up on the barrier pack 2 by the conventional method such as simultaneous extrusion multilayer blow molding. In the case of the barrier pack 2 consisting of a single aluminum layer 5 or a laminate layer 7 having an aluminum foil 9 in its interior, a coating layer 1 may be formed previously on the blank material.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the growth of bacteria, fungi or the like by forming an antibacterial zeolite-containing layer on the inner and/or outer surface of a tube. CONSTITUTION:The content in zeolite of antibacterial metal or ammonium ions is appropriately controlled by adjusting the ion (salt) concentration in a mixed aqueous solution. Any coating layer is applicable for use on a tubular container with no restriction, insofar as an antibacterial zeolite is uniformly dispersed in various organic high-molecular compounds. Concerning the method of forming an antibacterial zeolite-containing coating layer 1 on the inner surface 2 and/or the outer surface 3 of the tube, it is not specifically designated but the conventional method such as simultaneous extrusion multilayer blow molding is employed. In this example, a polyethylene resin is mixed with a high-molecular compound containing 1-5% antibacterial zeolite in an amount of 50% to form the coating layer 1 having a thickness of 5-50mum.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a restoring material for a tooth crown capable of suppressing the proliferation of bacteria in a mouth and further the occurrence of decalcification, dental caries or gingival hypertrophy in the mouth by uniformly blending a specific antimicrobial agent powder with a restoring material for the tooth crown. SOLUTION: This restoring material for a tooth crown comprises an antimicrobial zeolite powder holding an antimicrobial metal such as silver, copper or zinc thereon (preferably having 0.5-7.5μm particle diameter) in an amalgam, a resin, a cement, etc. The restoring material may be prepared by mixing, e.g. the inorganic antimicrobial agent powder with a resin component of the restoring material for the tooth crown and then molding the resultant mixture so as to expose at least a part of the inorganic antimicrobial agent powder to the surface part. The amount of the inorganic antimicrobial agent powder added to the restoring material for the tooth crown is preferably 0.5-3.0wt.%. The inorganic antimicrobial agent powder, especially the antimicrobial zeolite powder is preferably contained in an amount of 0.1-15wt.% in the zeolite. The inorganic antimicrobical agent powder containing the silver, copper and zinc, etc., is preferably treated with at least one coupling agent selected from the group consisting of an organoaluminum compound, an organosilicon compound and an organotitanium compound.
