摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate pull-out of a brake pad to below by a method wherein by removing one of suspension metal fittings, a support washer is brought into suspension down. SOLUTION: A disc rotor 1 is nipped from both sides through a brake pad 3 attached to a brake caliper 3. A brake pad is formed such that a lining is attached to a back plate. The back plate is fitted in a dovetail groove formed in a brake caliper 2 and support washers 20 positioned at the two ends thereof to block movement of the brake pad 3 is fastened against the brake caliper through a bolt 21. Simultaneously, the support washer 20 positioned below the dovetail is supported at the brake caliper 2 through suspension metal fittings 23 arranged on both sides. By removing one of the suspension metal fittings 23, the brake pad 3 is exchanged without the support washer 20 suspended to one side below the dovetail.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overall warping by constituting a brake pad by installing a lining making pressure contact with a disc rotor on a back plate and forming a favourably deformed part positioned in the neighbourhood of both ends in the longitudinal direction of this back plate and weakened in rigidity. SOLUTION: Brake pads 3 are respectively installed on a forked fork part 4 of a brake caliper 2, and the brake pads 3 are fixed on a back surface of a lining 7 making pressure contact with a disc rotor 1 by installing a back plate 8 through a rivet 9. Thereafter, the brake pads 3 are formed long in the circumferential direction of the disc rotor 1, thickness of a section of the back plate 8 is gradually reduced in the neighbourhood of both ends in the longitudinal direction, and a tapered part 10 as a favourably deformed part rigidity of which is weakened is formed. Consequently, it is possible to reduce overall curvature of the brake pads 3.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize the follow-up performance of callipers, to suppress eccentric wear of a brake shoe resulting from uneven contacting, and to lessen fine vibration transmitted to a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A float type calliper brake device in which callipers are movable relative to a supporting frame, is equipped with two sleeves 18 and 18' where two parallel supporting pins 6 and 6' to couple the callipers with the supporting frame are fitted slidably and a vibration-proof rubber piece 21 furnished on the peripheries of the sleeves 18 and 18', wherein the supporting frame is furnished with mounting holes 22 and 22' in which the sleeves 18 and 18' are supported through the rubber piece 21. Thereby the follow-up performance of the callipers is stabilized, and eccentric wear of each brake shoe is suppressed, and fine vibration at the time of brake application is not likely transmitted to a vehicle body.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of the warp of a brake pad on a whole by a method wherein in a direction in which deformation is increased, a lining is divided into a plurality of sections and attached to a back plate. SOLUTION: A disc rotor 1 is nipped from both sides through a brake pads 3 attached to brake calipers 2. The brake pad 3 is formed such that a lining 7 forced into pressure contact with the disc rotor 1 is attached to a back plate 8. The back plate 8 is formed in a manner to be lengthened in the peripheral direction of the disc rotor 1 and the lining 7 is divided into a plurality of sections in the longitudinal direction of the back plate. Each lining 7 is fixed in the longitudinal direction of the back plate by means of a single rivet.
