    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the vibration absorption property in the line direction of a jumper wire without increasing the rigidity of a mobile coupling part between the horizontal material of the jumper wire and a support material for this. SOLUTION: A weight 5 is attached through a spring 6 to a horizontal material constituting a jumper, and the weight 5 is made to oscillate in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal material. It is desirable that clamps 4 for attachment should be built before and behind one another between a plurality of horizontal materials thereby constituting this device, and that a bar-shaped guide 7 should be built between these clamps for attachment, and a weight 5 is set slidably on this guide 7, and further springs 6 are interposed between the front and rear of the weight 5 and the clamps 4 for attachment.

    • PURPOSE: To facilitate fixing of a jumper lead wire by locating the joint of a jumper rod and a jumper lead wire above the horizontal position of the jumper rod and locating the lowermost point of the jumper lead wire at the lowermost point of the jumper rod or above thereby suppressing generation of corona. CONSTITUTION: A jumper rod 7' is bent upward, on the opposite sides thereof, with an optimal radius of curvature toward the bundle conductor side and connected, at the end thereof, with a jumper lead wire 6' such that the joint is located above the horizontal position of the jumper rod 7'. The jumper lead wire 6' is substantially linear and does not sag downward. The jumper rod 7' is bent acutely, at the opposite ends thereof, with an optimal curvature so that the jumper rod 7' does not cause generation of corona. Formation of the jumper rod 7', especially bending thereof at the opposite ends, can be carried out previously and the fixing work thereof can be facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To easily, speedily, and securely make a measurement by cooling a part of the heat radiation part of the on-ground part of the heat pipe, detecting temperature variation between the parts above and below the cooled part, and deciding whether the heat pipe is in normal operation or not. CONSTITUTION:A cooler 11 is fitted at a proper position of the on-ground heat radiation part of a heat wire 1A and thermocouples 4a and 4b are fitted at points P and Q above and below it; and a power generator 5 is put in opera tion to place a cooling device 10 in operation and then put the cooler 11 in a cooling state, thereby cooling the fitting position for the heat wire 1A. The temperature before the cooling of the cooler 11 is compared with the tempera ture after the cooling and it is decided that the heat pipe operates normally when the temperature at the point Q below the cooling part falls after the cooling. Further, it is easily decided that the operation is defective unless there is variation in temperature between the points P and Q. Consequently, the mea surement is completed in a short time and the carrying-in operation of a heavy equipment, etc., can be minimized.

    • PURPOSE:To inexpensively provide a heat wire constituted such as to enable to melt snow on the periphery of a supporting wire for a pole to be supported, such as an electric pole, by continuously feeding a long core member comprising heat pipes and dummy members connected to each other into the twisting center of a twisting wire and forming the twisting layer on the outer periphery of the long core member. CONSTITUTION:Heat pipes 1 and dummy members 2 are continuously connected to each other with an adhesive tape 3, etc., to form a long core member, which is wound on a drum and carried into a wire-twisting machine. When a twisting operation is carried out, the long core member comprising the connected heat pipes 1 and dummy members 2 is taken out as such from the drum and continuously fed, simultaneously twisting a twisting wire 7 on the fed long core member to provide the objective heat wire 10. The heat wire 10 is disposed between an electric pole 11 and an anchor 12 in a tense state to form a supporting wire, and one end of the formed composite heat wire is embedded in the ground to form a heat-collecting section 10a and the other end is used as a heat-releasing section 10b to melt the snow on the periphery of the heat-treating section 10b, thereby cutting the transmission of the sedimentation power of the snow to the supporting wire to prevent the breakage of the supporting wire.

    • PURPOSE:To improve safety, workability and profitability by arranging large snatch blocks on both sides of a steel tower to be strung, engaging an electric wire with one large snatch block and a wire for wire extend with the other large snatch block and forming a wire extend loop. CONSTITUTION:When an electric wire 10 is extended between steel towers T1, T2 constructed on both banks at a distance L crossing a channel or a large river, large snatch blocks 1, 1' are disposed respectively at the rears of the steel towers T1, T2. The large snatch block 1 is installed at the rear of the position of approximately half the stringing length L of the electric wire 10 from a fixed shaft 7, the electric wire 10 is interlinked with a snatch block groove in the large snatch block 1, and the electric wire 10 is formed to a U shape. Temporary fixing clamps 5 are contact- bonded with both end sections of the electric wire 10, and connecting wires 7a and extending wires 11 are connected to connecting holes for the clamps 5. Both end sections of the extending wires 11 and the temporary fixing clamps 5 are coupled, and a wire extend loop is formed. The connection of the fixed shaft 7 and the electric wire 10 is released, and the wire extend loop is turned as shown in the arrow by using a wire extend winch 9 while the tension of the whole loop is varied by a block 3, thus extending the electric wire 10.
