摘要： A cooling jacket for an electric motor includes a plurality of jacket portions that are attached to each other to surround a motor stator. Each jacket portion is an extruded component that includes an outer peripheral wall and an inner peripheral wall spaced inwardly from the outer peripheral wall to form a cooling space between the inner and the outer peripheral walls. A plurality of connecting walls extends between the inner and the outer peripheral walls. The connecting walls cooperate with each other to define a plurality of discrete cooling passages within the cooling space of each jacket portion. First and second end caps are mounted to the plurality of jacket portions to enclose the plurality of discrete cooling passages such that a continuous cooling loop is provided through the plurality of jacket portions and the first and second end caps.

摘要： A vehicle suspension includes a plurality of pneumatic suspension elements with each pneumatic suspension element being associated with one pneumatic control valve. A common manifold is fluidly connected to each of the pneumatic control valves. The manifold includes a supply valve that is connected to an air supply, an exhaust valve, and a single pressure sensor. The single pressure sensor is used to measure a pressure level at each of the pneumatic suspension elements. A controller cooperates with the manifold to individually adjust pressure levels of each of the pneumatic suspension elements based on the individually sensed pressure levels. The controller can use the sensed pressure levels to adjust suspension ride height, identify system leaks and isolate defective suspension elements, identify uneven pressure distribution, and to determine a load supported on the pneumatic suspension elements.

摘要： Role is a comprehensive grouping mechanism. In a client-server directory system, roles transfer some of the complexity to the directory server. A role is defined by its role definition entry. Assigning entries to roles enables applications to locate the roles of an entry, rather than select a group and browse the members list. Additionally, roles allow for support of generated attribute values, and directory server-performed membership verification for clients. By changing a role definition, a user can change an entire organization with ease. Any client with appropriate access privileges can discover, identify and examine any role definition.

摘要： A steering assembly is provided for a vehicle including an upper connection, typically provided by an upper control arm. A knuckle includes an upper and lower portions with the upper portion supported by the upper connection. A lower assembly of the present invention includes a control arm with legs extending from a spring portion at spaced apart ends. The legs extend from its ends and converge to a lower connection for supporting the lower portion of the knuckle with the upper and lower connections defining a wheel camber and a wheel caster. Preferably, each of the legs of the control arm has a different spring rate to provide a change in wheel camber under the deflection of the control arm during wheel travel. The different spring rates of the legs permits the lower connection to twist thereby enabling the wheel caster to change slightly during the upward and downward motion of the wheel.

摘要： A spring and strut module for an automotive vehicle includes an extensible and contractable strut adapted to be secured to a rigid frame of the vehicle by a strut mount, and a spring unit including a spring for resisting retraction of the strut. A bearing and upper spring seat assembly includes an upper spring seat for the spring and an annular bearing for the spring seat. A bearing base is formed integrally with the spring seat and supports the lower race. A bearing cap covers the upper race. The bearing cap provides a seat for the strut mount. The spring seat is made of a plastic, preferably glass fiber reinforced Nylon. The bearing base has drain holes for carrying away any possible foreign matter. The spring seat has an annular upwardly opening trough, and the strut has an annular downturned lip extending into the trough providing a labyrinth seal inhibiting the entry of foreign matter into the bearing. The bearing base and bearing cap have overlapping portions also for the purpose of inhibiting entry of foreign matter into the bearing.

摘要： An apparatus for separating a mixed granular material into granules of different specific gravities or ranges of specific gravity using a powered air flow is described. A divider plate is located below the air flow path within the apparatus to separate the two material flows from each other. The divider plate can be rotated about an axis and can also be translated or displaced within the apparatus in order to precisely define the separation point between the material flows. Hoppers are used to collect and discharge the separated granular materials, and a conveyor belt is provided within the apparatus to transport one of the separated granular materials to the corresponding hopper. The conveyor belt reduces clogging of the separated granular material and also allows a greater degree of separation to be maintained between the hoppers, thereby allowing standard conveyors to be placed beneath the hopper discharge openings. The disclosed separation apparatus finds particular utility in the environmental remediation of outdoor firearm training facilities which have been contaminated with lead from used bullets, by allowing the lead bullets to be separated from rocks, soil and other debris for recycling.
