    • To reduce a weight of an optical pickup device that may reproduce information recorded in a plurality of kinds of optical discs having different use wavelengths, a laser beam light source 1 and a hologram optical unit 14 are provided as light sources for emitting light to reproduce the information of the optical discs having different use wavelength. In order to introduce the light into recording layers of the optical discs 2a and 2b, an actuator moving area 7 is disposed in the emission space of the light. The actuator moving area 7 is composed of a numerical-aperture-controlling filter 8 and an objective lens 9. Due to the change of the focusing position of the objective lens 9 by the numerical-aperture-controlling filter 8 in response to a kind of the optical discs 2a and 2b, the light beam is optimally converged to the recording layers of the optical discs 2a and 2b, respectively.

    • The purpose of the present invention is to provide an external resonator type frequency-variable semiconductor laser light source in which the oscillation frequency of the semiconductor laser can be set lip at higher resolution. In the present invention, one end face of a semiconductor laser is coated with an antireflection film. The outgoing beam from the end face is incident on a diffraction grating fixed on a rotating stage. A parallel sliding stage moves the rotating stage in parallel with the optical axis of the semiconductor laser by a parallel sliding mechanism driver. A frequency setting part sets arbitrarily the oscillation frequency of the semiconductor laser. A beam splitter splits an outgoing beam from the other end face of tile semiconductor laser into a transmitted beam and a reflected beam. An optical interferometer inputs the reflected beam and outputs an interference output beam. An optical detector inputs the interference output beam and converts it to an electric interference signal. An interference signal processing unit inputs the interference signal to be counted, and outputs a processing signal being proportional with the counted number of interference fringes. A comparator compares a set signal from the frequency setting part with the processing signal and feeds the result back to the parallel sliding mechanism driver.

    • This invention seeks to provide a resin composition and a molded article which are excellent in transparency, weatherability, resistance to boiling water and resistance to molding heat, which have an internal strain reduced and which are excellent in breaking durability.This invention is a resin composition comprising (A) 100 parts by weight of a polycarbonate resin (component A), (B) 0.005 to 1 part by weight of an ester (component B) of pentaerythritol and an aliphatic carboxylic acid, (C) 0.003 to 0.2 part by weight of an epoxy compound (component C), (D) 0.01 to 1 part by weight of an ultraviolet absorbent (component D), and (E) 0.001 to 0.5 part by weight of a phosphorus stabilizer (component E), wherein the components B and the component C have a critical stress of 12 MPa or more each when they are treated at a temperature of 120° C. for 24 hours in a one/fourth ellipse test method using a bisphenol A type polycarbonate resin sheet that is produced by a melt-extrusion method and has a viscosity average molecular weight of 24,500, and a molded article thereof.

The second gyroscope includes: a second light source for emitting light; an optical distributor for dividing the light into two lights; a second optical fiber loop through which the two lights travel in opposite directions and enter both respective ends of the sensor coil; and a second optical detector for detecting an angular velocity based on a phase difference between the two lights.
