摘要： A combustor comprises a passage area changing mechanism which relatively moves a flame holder relative to a premixed combustion nozzle in an axial direction so that the area of passage for premixed gas between an injection edge of the premixed combustion nozzle and a peripheral edge of the flame holder can be changed. Stable combustion can be maintained over a wide load range and reduction in NOx can be achieved.

摘要： First and second premixed burners having annular injection slots are concentrically adjacent and the injection slots are substantially aligned with each other in a longitudinal direction of the burners. A pilot burner is provided substantially in the center of the annular first premixed burner so that the injection slot of the pilot burner is substantially aligned with the injection slot of the first premixed burner in a longitudinal direction of the burner. A flame holder which forms a circulating flow of combusted gas Gh downstream of the flame holder is disposed at the downstream end of a boundary wall between the premixed burners so that the flame holder is co-used by the premixed burners. Flow rate adjusting means for adjusting the flow rate of fuel supplied to the first, second premixed burner and the pilot burner, respectively are provided. The fuel can be substantially uniformly mixed with a combustion gas. Reduction in NOx and stabilization of premixed flame can be achieved.

It further comprises a second diode connected between the cathode of the first diode and the output node, and a discharging circuit for discharging the cathode of the first diode to a reference voltage level during a time other than a programming mode.

摘要： This invention discloses a ventilating needle having a membrane-type filter stretched across the communication passage of a hub portion of the needle. In this invention, the membrane-type filter is of 2-ply type composed of a reinforcement layer and a water-repellent filter having a higher melting point than said reinforcement layer. This membrane-type filter is thermally adhered to a step portion formed in the innter wall of the hub portion through interfusion of the reinforcement layer and the step portion. This invention also discloses a method of assembling the ventilating needle in which a membrane-type filter is adhered to a step portion formed in the inner wall of the hub by means of ultrasonic waves.

One edge of the ribs lie in a curved surface such as a parabolic cylindrical surface. The cathode can be utilized in a water photolysis apparatus which also includes an N type photocatalytic semiconductor anode. Both the cathode and anode are in an aqueous basic electrolyte solution. The anode and cathode are electrically biased by a solar cell. The biasing potential of the solar cell raises the voltage potential of the cathode and lowers the Fermi level of the anode.
