摘要： Shutter control devices for a camera, utilizing piezoelectric actuators, are disclosed. A set of levers are rotated by a piezoelectric actuator to operate a shutter of the camera. Further levers are provided which interact to provide the actuator with an impact force upon completion of shutter operation and to produce a voltage within the actuator. A circuit is provided to sense the voltage produced and induce operation of a discharge tube.

摘要： There is disclosed a driving device for piezoelectric actuator, in which a voltage is applied to a piezoelectric actuator to generate a mechanical deformation therein, thus actuating a mechanical system. In an aspect, the piezoelectric actuator is at first given a voltage of inverse polarity, for generating a displacement in an opposite direction, and then given a voltage of forward polarity, for generating a displacement in the normal functioning direction, thereby actuating the mechanical system. Displacement and acceleration become larger, as the displacement of the actuator takes place from a position in the inverse direction.

摘要： There is disclosed a driving device for piezoelectric actuator, in which a voltage is applied to a piezoelectric actuator to generate a mechanical deformation therein, thus actuating a mechanical system. In an aspect, the electrical insulation state of the piezoelectric actuator is detected, and, if deteriorated, the destruction of insulation is prevented by an alarm generation and/or inhibition of voltage application. In an embodiment, the insulation state is identified from the ambient humidity of the actuator. In another aspect, if the detected humidity is at a high level that may induce destruction of insulation, the piezoelectric actuator is driven with a low voltage, in order to dehumidity by heat generation. Also shutter control devices for camera, utilizing piezoelectric actuator, are disclosed.

摘要： A fully automatic exposure control system is desired for providing either a shortened or an extended maximum exposure interval time out period dependent upon the distance between the camera and subject either directly by sonic ranging or indirectly by sampled reflected light. An automatic exposure control system is disclosed wherein a sonic rangefinder (132) and counter (146) sets a flip-flop (166) if the subject distance is far beyond the effective flash range. A logic circuit (168, 170, 172) routes a shortened or extended maximum exposure time out signal from counter (174) if the light integrating circuit (72) has not reached a certain level (88) to terminate exposure. Alternatively the maximum exposure interval time is lengthened if logic circuit (90) detects light integrating circuit (72) has not reached a certain level (84) when a pulse (114) is generated overlapping the illumination period.

A switch is positioned to determine whether a shutter operation has been completed upon application of the rated voltage to a piezoelectric actuator. If, the switch does not detect completion of the operation, a higher (maximum) voltage can be applied to complete the operation. If the switch then does not detect completion, an alarm signal is triggered.
