    • Herein disclosed is a canvas top type sunroof structure for a motor vehicle having an apertured roof. The sunroof structure comprises a pair of guide members which extend along respective sides of the aperture of the roof; a canvas top adapted to cover the aperture; a front carry member having a front part of the canvas top secured thereto, the front carry member being slidably guided by the guide members; guided carry members slidably guided by the guide members and carrying thereon a major middle part of the canvas top; free carry members carried by the guided carry members respectively, each free carry member carrying thereon the major middle part of the canvas top; a biasing spring for biasing each free carry member upward relative to the corresponding guided carry member; a rear carry member having a rear part of the canvas top secured thereto, the rear carry member being slidably guided by the guide members; an electric drive device for driving the front carry member forward and rearward along the guide members; and a lock device for selectively locking and unlocking the rear carry member to a rear given portion of the roof.

    • An air bag system is provided wherein a support belt for coupling an airbag to a vehicle body is accommodated in an accommodation part provided in the vehicle body. A belt cover is engaged from above so as to cover the accommodation part. The belt cover is configured to be removed from the accommodation part along with swelling and expansion of the airbag. A wire is coupled to the vehicle body inside the accommodation part so as not to be moved apart from the vehicle body over a predetermined length at the time of removing. The wire is arranged inside the accommodation part, and is coupled to a fixation plate to be connected to a frame of the vehicle body. By inserting the wire into through-holes of the fixation plate, the wire is coupled to the vehicle body, and both ends thereof are connected to the belt cover.

    • A video editing apparatus for editing electronic motion video image data utilizes an effect setting table that specifies mapping of editing effect names arbitrarily registered by the user to editing effects or screen effects, for example, transition effects between different scenes or successive video clips and insertion of captions and subtitles, executable by the video editing apparatus. In editing management data that specify a flow of a program, editing effects to be applied in respective video clip data are set indirectly by specifying the editing effect names registered in the effect setting table. Varying the mapping of the editing effect names to the editing effects enables a desired editing effect corresponding to a certain editing effect name to be collectively changed without modifying the editing management data. This arrangement desirably relieves the labor in the process of setting the editing effects and improves the certainty.
