      SOLUTION: The method for washing the heavy metal contaminated soil in situ slurries the heavy metal contaminated soil from the soil surface to a predetermined depth, that is a slurrying depth, by water injection and agitation, thereafter leaves the soil at rest, moreover pours a chemical agent or the chemical agent solution and water into the soil, and agitates and mixes the soil and the chemical agent solution present to a predetermined depth, that is a chemical agent washing depth shallower than the slurrying depth to extract the heavy metal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement burning apparatus without a possibility of explosion and a deterioration of heat efficiency of a cement kiln when high-moisture organic waste such as high-moisture organic sludge is dried, and to provide a drying method of the high-moisture organic waste.
      SOLUTION: The cement burning apparatus 1 comprises a dryer 6 supplied with a combustion gas extracted from an exhaust gas flow path from the outlet duct of a calciner 4 of the cement kiln 2 to the outlet duct of a pre-heater 3 to dry the high-moisture organic waste W containing a moisture of 40 mass% or larger. Since the combustion gas extracted from the above-described area has a low oxygen concentration of about 2 to 8%, there is no possibility of explosion. The temperature of the combustion gas is about 450 to 900°C to enable the high-moisture organic waste to be sufficiently dried. A second exhaust gas flow path 8 can be provided to return an exhaust gas from the dryer 6 to the exhaust gas flow path from the outlet duct of the calciner 4 of the cement kiln 2 to the outlet duct of the pre-heater 3.
