    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil agitation device which agitates soil including a chemical agent efficiently and enhances the purification efficiency of contaminated soil. SOLUTION: The soil agitation device 1 is characterized by mounting a soil agitation mechanism 2 provided with a rotation shaft 11 that is installed extendedly to the horizontal direction, a plurality of agitation nails 12 that are installed radially extendedly from the rotation shaft and a plate member 13 arranged spirally at the outside of the rotation radius of the agitation nail, on the traction device 3. The agitated soil remains undelivered in the mechanism by the plate member and the agitation efficiency of soil including the chemical agent and the like is enhanced by preventing the diffusion of the agitated soil. The plate members can be plurally arranged so that they constitutes the symmetric phase in the axial direction of the rotation shaft along the outer periphery of a virtual cylinder existing in the outside of the rotation radius of the plurality of agitation nails. A baffle 14 is installed extendedly in the approximately vertical direction against the axial direction of the rotation shaft at the outside of the both ends of the rotation shaft. It is preferable that each of the rotation radius of the plural agitation nails is 20 cm or more and the minimum height H from the bottom of the body of the traction device is 40 cm or more.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving subaqueous ground in a simple manner without diffusing floating mud deposited on a subaqueous bottom and containing noxious matter.
      SOLUTION: According to the method of improving the subaqueous ground, (a) the subaqueous bottom 16 is covered with a civil engineering sheet 1, and (b) a rod 10 is lowered to pierce the civil engineering sheet 1 to bore the subaqueous ground 15. Then (c) a hardener is ejected from a nozzle 9, and the rod 10 is elevated while being rotated, to thereby create a soil improving body 8a1 in the subaqueous ground 15. Further (d) ejection of the hardener is stopped, and the rod 10 is drawn out of the subaqueous ground 15 and the civil engineering sheet 1, (e) followed by carrying out the steps (b) to (d), to thereby create a soil improving body 8a2 adjacently to the soil improving body 8a1. In this manner the soil improving bodies 8 are created in the subaqueous ground 15. Thereafter a rope 2a is pulled to move the civil engineering sheet 1 to another civil engineering target zone along an upper surface 4a of a noxious matter deposited floating mud layer 4, and the steps (a) to (e) are repeatedly carried out in the same manner.
