    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor to be enhanced in performance and reliability, and to provide a compressor mounted with the same.
      SOLUTION: The electric motor includes a stator 20 having a stator core wound with a plurality of phases of stator windings, and a rotor 40 arranged rotatably on the inner circumferential face side of the stator core. The rotor 40 includes a rotor core 41 having a plurality of magnet insertion holes 43 for inserting permanent magnets 44 and spaces 45, 46 formed between adjacent magnet insertion holes 43 and the permanent magnets 44 inserted into the magnet insertion holes 43. The rotor core 41 is configured by laminating electromagnetic plates 42a, 42b different in the opening area of the spaces 45, 46.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine wherein even in a stator provided with a concentrated winding, a rotor can be directly positioned in the position of magnetization by passing a direct current through the winding of the stator.
      SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine includes the rotor 10 and the stator 1. The rotor 10 has the following on the outer circumference of a rotating shaft 11: a core inner radius portion 12; magnet insertion holes 13 into which permanent magnets are inserted; a core outer radius portion 14; and connecting portions 15 placed between adjoining magnet insertion holes 13 and magnetically connecting the core inner radius portion 13 and the core outer radius portion 14. The stator 1 is disposed outside the rotor 10 and includes multiple salient poles 2 and concentrated windings of multiple phases wound on the salient poles 2. The connecting portions 15 of the rotor 10 are provided on the outer radius side with: thick portions 20 whose thickness in the radial direction is increased over a circumferential range equal to or wider than the gap 4 between the tips of adjoining salient poles 2 of the stator 1; and thin portions 21 whose thickness in the radial direction is small, positioned on both sides of the thick portions 20 in the circumferential direction.

      SOLUTION: This stator core for rotating electric machine is constituted by laminating a plurality of core members which are fit into the inner periphery of the external structure 4. The stator core is composed of laminates 1A of the core members for making contribution to fixing on the external structure 4 and laminates 1B of the core members for making no contribution to fixing on the external structure 4. In the laminates 1B of the core members for making no contribution to fixing on the external structure 4, the outer peripheries of the core members are in such a form as to have air gaps 1g all around between the outer periphery of the core members and the external structure 4.

    • PURPOSE:To make the quality of heat released from a linear hot cathode more efficient, and improve emitting efficiency of electron, luminance and color purity by providing a layer having a high radiation ratio on the surfaces of a mesh electrode and a back plate. CONSTITUTION:A phosphor 9 applied in three kinds of dots of red, green and blue onto the inner surface of a front glass 10 is made to emit light by the electron passed through a control electrode 5, an image is displayed on the glass, and the quality of heat generated in a linear hot cathode 1 is repeatedly reflected by a mesh electrode 2, a back plate 3, a grid electrode 4, and the control electrode 5. The high radiation ratio layer 40 of the fixed part 2b of the electrode 2 absorbs the reflected heat from the electrodes 4, 5, and the absorbed heat is transmitted from the fixed part 2b to the electrode 3, and radiated from the high radiation ratio layer 40 on the surface not opposed to the cathode 1. The heat of the porous part 2a of the electrode 2 is transmitted from the fixed part 2b to the electrode 3, and similarly radiated from the layer 40 on the surface not opposed to the cathode 1. The heat of the electrode 3 is directly radiated from the layer 40 of its own.
