    • A semiconductor memory device includes: a memory cell array provided with a plurality of memory cells in a matrix; and a power supply circuit configured to supply an intermediate voltage between a power supply voltage and a ground voltage to each of the plurality of memory cells. The power supply circuit includes: a first intermediate voltage generating circuit configured to generate a first intermediate voltage between the power supply voltage and the ground voltage; a second intermediate voltage generating circuit configured to generate a second intermediate voltage between the power supply voltage and the ground voltage; a first output node to which the first intermediate voltage is supplied; a second output node to which the second intermediate voltage is supplied; and a connection control circuit provided between the first output node and the second output node. The first intermediate voltage generating circuit supplies the first intermediate voltage in response to a first control signal, and the second intermediate voltage generating circuit stops its operation in response to the first control signal. The connection control circuit connects the first output node and the second output node when the second intermediate voltage generating circuit stops its operation.

    • A load detecting sensor includes a first member, a second member, and an optical fiber. The first member has a groove having a bottom portion and a column portion which defines the groove. The second member covers the groove of the first member so that a surrounded space is formed. The optical fiber is arranged in the surrounded space. At least one of the first member and the second member is made of an elastic body. The surrounded space is deformable when load is applied to at least one of the first and the second members. When load is applied to at least one of the first and the second members, the deformation of the optical fiber is caused following the deformation of the surrounded space. Hereby, the load detecting sensor, which can decrease the manufacturing cost and increase the detecting sensitivity by the optical fiber, can be obtained.

    • To provide a contactless charging system that provides superior usability and allows for a reduction in power consumption and a safety measure, as well as to provide an electronic device, a contactless charger, and a battery pack for an electronic device which are used in the system.A contactless charging system is made up of a mobile phone 100 that is an electronic device and a contactless charger 200 that recharges the mobile phone 100 in a contactless manner. The mobile phone 100 transmits a full charge command indicating completion of charge. Upon receipt of the full charge command, the contactless charger 200 shifts to a charge stop state in which charge of the mobile phone 100 is not performed. In the charge stop state, the contactless charger 200 generates a load check signal for checking whether or not the mobile phone 100 is placed in the contactless charger 200 in a rechargeable state, and transmits the signal. Further, the contactless charger 200 also generates a charge restart check command for checking whether or not the mobile phone 100 requests recharge in a charge stop state, and transmits the command.
