    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular rain shield device which is unnecessary for a large mounting space in the vicinity of a vehicle door, high in mounting degree of versatility, and good in operability.
      SOLUTION: The vehicular rain shield device S to cover an upper part of a get-on/get-off space formed from an entrance 4 with a door 2 arranged thereto to the side of a vehicle comprises a development roof 10 which is inflated to a predetermined shape by feeding gas inside and developed over the upper part of the get-on/get-off space, a gas feed/discharge means 20 to feed/discharge gas to/from the development roof 10, and a control unit 30 to control the operation of the gas feed/discharge means 20. The control unit 30 controls the operation based on the signals of a door switch, a rain drop sensor, or the like. In a collision, the development roof 10 is developed based on the collision sensing signal from a collision sensor.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device capable of rapidly restoring excellent visibility by wiping fouling adhered to a part of area of a windshield surface in a short time.
      SOLUTION: The wiper device comprises a washer mechanism 20 to spray washer liquid on the surface of a windshield 1 of a vehicle, a wiper mechanism 10 to wipe the surface of the windshield by the reciprocal movement of wiper blades 15a, 15b, an input means 30 to transmit the fouling position signal to indicate the position of adhesion of fouling 3 on the windshield 1, and a control means 40 to control the drive of the washer mechanism 20 and the wiper mechanism 10 based on the fouling position signal. The control means 40 sets a predetermined area including the position of adhesion of the fouling 3 out of wiping areas 1a, 1b by the wiper blades 15a, 15b as a designated wiping area 2 based on the fouling position signal, and drives the wiper mechanism 10 to reciprocally wipe the designated wiping area 2 by the wiper blades 15a, 15b.

Parts of different rigidity in the thickness direction are provided on the lip part in the longitudinal direction thereof. A through hole 38 penetrating in the thickness direction of the lip part 35 is formed in the parts of different rigidity in the thickness direction. In addition, the thickness of the lip part 35 is decreased or increased.
