The bolt and nut fastening hole is made in the plate(111) welded in the new crash box and the plate(112) welded in the separated side member in order that the new crash box(11) is connected to the side member. New crash box is connected to the side member as each welded plate is fastened with the bolt and nut combining structure.

    • An optimum heat treatment cycle in a BAF(Batch Annealing Furnace) is provided to produce a cold rolled steel sheet for deep drawing, which is suitable for the interior panels of a vehicle requiring high formability. An optimum heat treatment cycle is characterized in that BAF annealing heat treatment is performed in order to meet the deep drawing assurance condition(YP:16.5kg/mm^2 or less, TS:28~33kg/mm^2, El.:46% or more) by using ultra-low-carbon steel with carbon content less than 70ppm and low-carbon steel with carbon content 70~250ppm and varying heating maintenance temperature and heating maintenance time. When using low-carbon steel with carbon content less than 250ppm, the hot rolling winding temperature is maintained 550~620°C so that the material after the annealing heat treatment has Pan-cake organization.
