摘要： An apparatus that provides for the quick and easy installation and removal of Roman Tub Spouts onto a water fitting comprising a water spout, a quick connect member, a trim escutcheon, a hub, a pair of deck nuts and a lock washer. The quick connect member screws into a Tee fitting, or the like, in the plumbing system. The hub screws into the base of the spout and slidably engages the smooth end of the quick connect member. The trim escutcheon is disposed between the spout and hub to provide support to the hub and to conceal the hub while providing decorative ornamentation to the apparatus. Once the spout and trim escutcheon are properly positioned on the quick connect member, a set screw fastens the assembly in place. The deck nuts are positioned above and below the tub surface to hold the apparatus in place on the tub surface.

摘要： An apparatus is provided for installing a faucet on a top side of a deck. The apparatus includes a threaded member engaged with the faucet and extending through the mounting hole to be rotated from above the deck. A nut is threadedly connected to the threaded member to pass through the mounting hole to the underside of the deck. A second member associated with and parallel to the threaded member engages the nut to prevent rotation thereof during rotation of the threaded member whereby the nut will be shifted up or down along the length of the threaded member. A pair of retaining arms are provided whereby, upon rotation of the threaded member to raise the nut in the direction of the deck, the retaining arms will bend outwardly and engage the underside of the deck to clamp the faucet to the deck.

摘要： A bath tap fitting is composed in the known way of a securing device which can be attached to a mounting plate and a movable outlet spout fitted to this. The securing device comprises a securing body which is composed of a lower part and an upper part which can be pushed onto the lower part so that it cannot turn but can be adjusted for height. An adjusting bush is axially fitted in the upper part of the securing body, which however can be turned. It has in the lower area an outer thread, with which it is screwed into a threaded hole of the lower part of the securing body. By turning the adjusting bush therefore the height of the upper part can be changed in comparison to the lower part. The upper part grips over the lower part with a skirt which is divided into segments from below by axis-parallel slits and has an outer thread there. A nut is screwed onto this outer thread which via a cam effect in each case depending on the amount of turn presses the segments of the skirt of the upper part to a greater or lesser extent against the lower part of the securing body. As a result not only the height of the upper part is fixed in comparison to the lower part, but also any play between the upper part and the lower part, which could lead to movement of the outlet spout, is completely eliminated.
