    • An inversely foldable automatic umbrella includes a main shaft; an operating sleeve and a connecting sleeve mounted around the main shaft; a compression spring with two ends thereof contacting the connecting sleeve and the operating sleeve, respectively; a first canopy with a central portion thereof fixed to the operating sleeve; a second canopy with a central portion thereof fixed to the top end; a skeleton disposed between the first canopy and the second canopy; and a pull-moving mechanism having a sliding unit and a connecting unit. The sliding unit is slidingly disposed on the skeleton. Two ends of the connecting unit are pivotally disposed on the sliding unit and the operating sleeve, respectively. When the operating sleeve is at a folding position to fold up the first canopy and the second canopy, the skeleton is allowed to completely adhere to the main shaft.

    • An umbrella includes a shaft, a sliding assembly, a canopy support rod, a connector rod, and a canopy. The sliding assembly is sleeved over the shaft in a slidable manner, the sliding assembly includes an upper sliding part, a lower sliding part, and a centre sliding part, the upper sliding part is connected to the lower sliding part, and the centre sliding part is located therebetween. A first end of the connector rod is connected to the centre sliding part in a hinged manner, and a second end of the connector rod is connected, in a hinged manner, to a sliding connection assembly disposed on the canopy support rod; the canopy is disposed on the canopy support rod. When the umbrella is closed, a wet surface of the canopy is folded inwards to the shaft, and the canopy support rod is turned outwards to be folded to the shaft.

    • An inverse umbrella having a double canopy structure and an inverse opening system is disclosed. The double canopy structure comprises an outer canopy and an inner canopy. The inverse opening system comprises a network of ribs and mechanism for moving the ribs so that the inner canopy is on the outside when the umbrella is in the collapsed position. When the inverse umbrella is closed after exposure to rain, the dry inner canopy is on the outside, thereby preventing undesirable dripping. The inverse umbrella also includes a unique sleeve and water collection system that encloses the rain dampened umbrella so that water adhering to the canopy can be properly collected in a unidirectional water-retaining device without making the surroundings wet when the user carries around the rain dampened umbrella. The water collection system comprises a one-way flow check valve that directs water droplets from the wet outer canopy toward a water reservoir while preventing the collected water from flowing out of the reservoir.

    • A coupling device for a hat-like umbrella frame consisting of a coupling member and a rib stretcher. A visor rib comprising an outer segment with a smaller diameter than the inner segment thereof is pivotably connected to a main rib and a respective rib stretcher. The coupling member is substantially U-shaped with an opening at one end thereof. The coupling member is disposed between the rib stretcher and the visor rib for allowing the visor rib to pass through. The outer segment of the visor rib is freely slidable within the opening of the coupling member. The inner segment of the visor rib is unable to pass through the opening member so that a sliding movement between the visor rib and the coupling member will be stopped. When opening the umbrella, the visor rib is movable outwardly and downwardly until the inner segment of the visor rib is stopped by the coupling member to become substantially horizontal and the main rib is stopped to further move outwardly and upwardly due to the connection between the visor rib and the main rib.
