    • An object of the present invention is to prevent an engaging member such as a clip from coming out and to enhance the holding force of the engaging member. In the present invention, there is provided a bracket 4 fixed to a support plate portion 2a on a front fender 2 on the body side and a locking claw 6a formed on a front grille 6 at a position corresponding to the bracket 4. The bracket 4 is provided with a mounting hole 4b engaging with a clip 10 serving as an engaging member and an engaging flange 4a engaging with the locking claw 6a. The clip 10 is inserted in the mounting hole 4b and the locking claw 6a is locked by the engaging flange 4a to mount the front grille 6 to the body without looseness. The bracket 4 is fixed not only to the front fender 2 on the body side but also to a lamp support, which is not shown.

    • A composition for shrinkable film which excels in heat-sealability, transparency, strength, and particularly low-temperature quick shrinking property and, therefore, suits production chiefly of packaging materials, a film made of the composition and a process for the manufacture of the film are disclosed. Specifically, the composition comprises one of the specific combinations of components (A), (B) and (C), i.e. the combinations of (A)+(B), (B)+(C) and (A)+(B)+(C), wherein (A) is non-rigid polyolefine resins such as ethylene vinyl acetate, (B) is an elastomer comprising a specific ethylene-.alpha.-olefin copolymer, and (C) is rigid polyolefin resins such as polypropylene. The packaging film excelling particularly in optical property, mechanical strength and low-temperature shrinking property is obtained by converting a homogeneous blend of the aforementioned composition, either in its crosslinked form or in its non-crosslinked form, into a tubular raw film, which is stretched at a temperature low enough for imparting a high orientation to the film. The process for the manufacture of this packaging film is also disclosed.

    • The detection of traffic demand for elevator cars serving a plurality of floors is related. A device is provided for detecting the latest information on traffic demand based on the number of passengers actually boarding and alighting from cars (herein-after referred to as the "boarding and alighting passengers"). On the basis of the respective floors at which cars are stopped to serve, the direction of travel of the cars, and the number of passengers boarding and alighting from the cars at the respective floors, the number of boarding and alighting passengers by direction is detected for each floor. The detected numbers for the respective floors are totaled to detect the traffic demand at each floor by direction. Further, the total is made for each traffic demand pattern to detect the traffic demand at each floor by traffic demand pattern and by direction. By taking the cumulative total of the totaled numbers of boarding and alighting passengers for all the floors by direction, the total number of boarding and alighting passengers is calculated. The results of these calculations are used to detect various types of information on traffic demand.
