    • A non-contact IC card communication in which power consumption of a driver of a reader/writer is reduced and the size of a power supply circuit for operating the driver is made small. The driver has a low output impedance. A current detecting circuit including a detecting coil magnetically coupled with a transceiver coil of the reader/writer through a magnetic coiling element and a resistor detects a current which flows through the transceiver coil. A voltage drop to be detected is small and is approximately constant for a variation of the transceiver coil current. When data is read from an IC card, a load of the driver is changed. The driver drives the transceiver coil in a constant voltage fashion even if a current flowing through the transceiver coil changes due to the change in load. Input voltages of a rectifying/smoothing circuit and a regulator in the IC card become approximately constant. As a result, the amplitude of a high frequency output voltage of the driver can be made small. Also, a high frequency signal current sent from a reader/writer is subjected to double modulation including amplitude modulation by card data and modulation by second information, such as information indicative of the abnormality of an IC card, in synchronism with a timing at which data transmission between the reader/writer and the card is made, and the second information is extracted by the reader/writer.

    • A clamping device for bonding machines used in manufacturing semiconductors including a clamp receiver, a rotatable lock key movable in a vertical direction on the clamp receiver, an air cylinder which pulls up and down the lock key, and a clamp which has a bonding window for bonding tool and an opening for the lock key passing through it. The clamp is mounted on the clamp receiver by letting the lock key pass through the opening, and then the lock key is turned so as not to accord with the opening. When the air cylinder is actuated, the lock key is pulled down and presses the clamp against the clamp receiver, securely positioning the clamp on the clamp receiver. Thus, the changing operation of the clamp is easily and quickly performed because the clamp can be removed by merely rotating the lock key and turning on and off the air cylinder.

    • An error flag processor for digital signals includes a memory having an information word frame comprised of signal words and correction words, an error detector for detecting errors in an input signal in units of one frame, a write address circuit for writing into an error flag RAM one error flag for one frame upon detection of an error in the words of the frame, an error correcting circuit for correcting data subjected to de-interleave and a read out of the memory, and read address circuit for reading error flags in units of one frame corresponding to individual words from the memory to the error correcting circuit, whereby the storage requirements for the error flags can be reduced. When old storage regions for correction words in the information word frame memory are used as error flag regions and the error flags are arranged in accordance with the signal word frames, the error flag RAM can be omitted.
