    • PURPOSE:To actuate on-vehicle apparatus to be controlled without an error by informing a voice recognized by a voice input to the operator through sight. CONSTITUTION:Car speed, the turning speed of an engine and time are displayed on respective display parts of a CRT display device 10. If an effective voice is inputted through an microphone 1, a microcomputer 6 processes the input voice, outputs a control command to the input voice to an air conditioner controlling device 8 e.g. and displays characters corresponding to the input voice on a time display part 10c of a CRT display device 10. After passing a fixed time, the character display is restored to time display. In addition to the control of the air conditioner, the voice recognition can be applied also to on- vehicle apparatus such as auto-drive, door lock and navigation controlling means in the same manner.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the performance of running by determining the non-operation of a lockup mechanism provided in a transmission gear box on the basis of the will of a driver and operating the lockup mechanism automatically in accordance with the driving state when the driver desires. CONSTITUTION:When a car is started, a microcomputer memorizes various data from a speed sensor 16, an accelerator opening sensor 17, and a range switch 19, and looks up the map of lockup control pattern based on the car load and the running range. Then, it reads out the data indicating a standard speed to distinguish the lockup area, and decides whether the present running state satisfies the lockup conditions by comparing the data with the actual car speed. When ''yes'', an indicator lamp 23 is lit. In this construction, a step is cut in to decide the on/off state of the switch 18 at every fixed time. When the switch 18 is on, a signal to cancel a lockup solenoid 14 is outputted.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent unnecessary electric conduction in the preheat controller of an engine through glow plugs, by starting the electric conduction at detection of operational preparation for the engine and ceasing the electric conduction for the engine still in a stop state when a prescribed current value is obtained. CONSTITUTION:A key is turned, and a detector circuit 17 outputs H by low engine temperature or a comparator circuit 8 outputs H by low temperature of glow plugs 1 themselves, if an engine is in a stop state, a transistor 27 and relay 26 are turned on to close a self holding switch 21, and the contact of a main relay 3 is closed becuase of H output of the comparator circuit 8, then the glow plugs 1 rapidly increase temperature even if an engine key switch 20 is not closed. If the glow plug reaches prescribed temperature, the output of the comparator circuit 8 becomes L, and the transistor 27 is turned off to open the self holding switch 21. Though the glow plug is cooled, power is not fed to the comparator circuit 8 and its peripheral circuits when the engine is not intended to start, then the main relay 3 and subrelay 4 are not operated.

When a driver reacts to the information and turns-ON the OK-switch on the operation panel 33, a signal is input into the microcomputer 24, and switch to a prescribed mode is performed, and the control signal for each part is output. Thus, the adjustment mode desired by driver can be obtained easily.
