    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce fuel consumption by preventing an increase in the fuel consumption in a prescribed load area, in a hybrid vehicle. SOLUTION: An engine of the hybrid vehicle has a first load area FLA in which the fuel consumption increases roughly proportionally to the increase of an engine load and a second load area SLS in which the increment of the fuel consumption to the increase of the load is smaller than in the first load area FLA. In the second load area SLA, the engine load is increased by generating electric power by the motor so as to drive the engine in the first load area FLA. When the direction in which the rotating torque detected by the torque detection means 94 is input, is opposite to the direction in which the rotating torque interpreted by the rotating direction interpretation means 1031 , the rotation of the electric motor 38 is controlled so that the operation level and the operating direction of the electric motor 38 change mildly.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small, lightweight electrical apparatus for vehicles. SOLUTION: The electrical apparatus 10 includes: an alternator 12; a power converter 13 that rectifies power generated by the alternator 12 and regulates voltage; an electric load 14 that is supplied with part of the converted power and consumes it; a battery 15 that is supplied with the remainder of the converted power and stores it; and a switching unit 20 that receives operating information indicating whether the alternator 12 is in a generating state. When the alternator is in a generating state, the switching unit electrically connects the power converter 13 and the electric load 14 and electrically disconnects the battery 15 and the electric load 14 from each other. When the alternator is in a non-generating state, the switching unit electrically disconnects the power converter 13 and the electric load 14 from each other and electrically connects the battery 15 and the electric load 14.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bad influence on a carburetor due to heat from a cylinder head by arranging a swing arm connected to an engine main body so as to separate the cylinder head from the carburetor.
      SOLUTION: A partition wall 59 arranged in the middle part of a swing arm 53 arranged along the longitudinal direction of a motorcycle is brought into mutual contact with a partition wall 60 arranged in an air cleaner cover 58 matchingly with the partition wall 59, and a front side air cleaner chamber 61 and a rear side carburetor housing chamber 62 are formed between the swing arm 53 and the air cleaner cover 58. In this way, a carburetor 74 can be housed inside the carburetor housing chamber 62 formed between the swing arm 53, which is positioned above a cylinder head 38 in an engine main body 34, and the air cleaner cover 58. Consequently, the swing arm 53 is arranged so as to separate the cylinder head 38 from the carburetor 74 and can be connected to a supporting bracket for a body frame oscillationally.
