    • A hollow vehicle suspension beam has opposed side walls formed with recesses in which an axle wrap is located and secured by welded jointing. The welded jointing is located internally and externally of the opposed side walls to provide a strong joint between the beam and the axle wrap. The beam includes at least one component of a generally U-shaped section having opposed limbs that provide at least part of the opposed side walls of the beam. The mouth of the component provides an access opening into the interior of the beam for the internal welded jointing to be made at the axle wrap. In one example, the beam includes two U-shaped components disposed with their mouths opening in opposite directions to provide access to the interior of the beam for the internal welded jointing to be made at the axle wrap. The mouths are then closed by closure components. The opposed side walls formed in combination by the opposed limbs of the U-shaped component and the space between the plate components are closed off by closure components after the internal welded joint has been made.

    • An in-line cord ground fault circuit interrupter which contains within a common housing the sensing unit and the tripping relay usually found separately packaged at a remote location. The fixed contacts are mounted on fixed contact arms mounted adjacent one surface of a printed circuit board with the movable contacts mounted on movable contact arms mounted adjacent the second surface. The tripping relay operates an armature between an open and a closed condition and by cams on the arms of the armature opens and closes the movable contacts with the fixed contacts. The two portion housing allows the components of the interrupter to be mounted on one portion of the housing which also supports the line and load conductors making assembly of the rear housing portion to the front housing portion easy.

    • There is provided a pair of tongs for grasping items comprising a pair of gripping ends, having a silicone and/or plastic exterior surface, where a first of the pair of gripping ends further comprises a set of metal teeth projecting toward the second of the pair of gripping ends. Each of the first and second of the pair of gripping ends may comprises a body core at least partially covered by a (silicone) coating. In one embodiment, teeth are embedded within a plastic core. In another, the core comprises a metal frame from which the teeth project. The set of teeth may be spaced from a periphery of the gripping end. The second of the pair of gripping ends may also comprise metal teeth projecting toward the first of the pair of gripping ends.
