摘要： A disposable for use in blood treatment including a blood treatment unit and two membrane pumps connected in parallel on one side of the blood treatment unit. The disposable is operable in a single-needle mode, in which the pumps generate a pulsatile flow of blood through the blood treatment unit, and in a double-needle mode, in which the pumps generate an essentially continuous flow of blood through the blood treatment unit. The pumps connect to a supply of treatment fluid such that alternating flows of treatment fluid causes the pumps to generate the desired flows of blood in the single-needle and double-needle modes. The treatment fluid may be used as motive fluid for displacing the blood in the membrane pumps and/or as control fluid for controlling opening and/or closing of upstream and downstream commutation valves in the membrane pumps.

摘要： A blood access device comprises a fluid conduit (50) configured to convey a flow of fluid to a target vessel (2), a second lever element (20) pivotally and resiliently connected to a first lever element (10) such that it may move from a first position (P1) to a second position. A biasing force is exerted on the second lever element (20) for moving it from the first position (P1) to the second position, and a blocking member may be activated by the second lever element (20), such that a flow of fluid is decreased when the second lever element (20) is moved from the first position (P1) to the second position. The lever elements (10, 20) are configured to be fixed to the target vessel (2) when the second lever element (20) is in the first position (P1), and the second lever element (20) moves to the second position (P2) and activates the blocking member (14) if the fixation is at least partially lost. A related blood treatment apparatus is also described.

Moreover, at least one of the blood pumps (1a, 1b) is integrated into a joint apparatus element (D), which includes the blood treatment unit (8). 摘要： The invention refers to a medical system comprising a first subsystem with a first connection portion (7), and a second subsystem with a second connection portion (12). The invention also refers to a device and a method for connecting the subsystems to each other. One of the subsystems contains a fluid. The connecting device is adapted to connect the subsystems to each other to permit transport of the fluid from one of the subsystems to the other subsystem.
