CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin resin compsn. is melted, kneaded and extruded using an extruder having a die to obtain a film having uneveness in its lateral direction. Next, the film is guided to a heating roll and stretched between two or more sets of rolls different in rotational speed while heated in a heating plate hot air tank over one or two stages in the longitudinal direction thereof to obtain a strip like stretched article. This strip like article is passed through the gap between rolls 7 heated to the melting temp. thereof and taken up by vertical guide rolls 8, 9 arranged in the direction of 90 deg. or less with respect to the longitudinal direction of the strip like article immediately passed through the gap between the rolls 7 to be twisted on the rolls 7 and the twisted parts are thermally welded to guide this strip like material to a takingup roll of which the speed is set so as to be lower than the rotational speed of the rolls 7.
