    • PURPOSE: To provide the titled composition giving a high-quality fiber having excellent spinnability and free from generation of powder and fluff in secondary processing, by compounding a high-density polyethylene and a straight-chain low-density polyethylene with a fatty acid amide or its mixture with a metallic soap.
      CONSTITUTION: (A) 99.99W99.0pts.wt. of a high-density polyethylene or a straight- chain low-density polyethylene or their mixture is compound with (B) 0.01W1.0 pts.wt. of a fatty acid or its mixture with a metallic soap. The component A is a crystalline copolymer of ≥50wt% ethylene and ≤50% other α-olefins and having a melt index of 5W50g/10min. The component B is a 12W24C higher fatty acid amine, or a sodium, lithium, calcium or magnesium salt of a 12W24C higher fatty acid or its hydroxy derivative.

    • PURPOSE:To remarkably improve the effect of prolonging a filtering life by setting a cylindrical filtering body in a housing and another cylindrical filtering body in the inside of the former and keeping a space between them. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical filtering body A and a cylindrical filtering body B are put in a housing 3 and in the inside of the filtering body A, resp., and a space part 12 is kept between the inside of cylindrical filtering body A and the outside of the cylindrical filtering body B. A fluid of a suspension led to a flow inlet 1 permeates the filtering layer from the outer circumferential face of the cylindrical filtering body A and coarse particles are removed. Although most of medium and small particles pass through the cylindrical filtering body A, a part of them are affected by cohesive force during the process of passing through the external layer part, grow to rough particles, and flow out in the space part 12. At that time, since the fluid flowing rate in the space part 12 becomes lower than that in the cylindrical filtering body A, the rough particles, which are the coagulated medium and small particles, move downward and precipitate in the lower part of the space part 12 due to gravity precipitation function. The concentration of the medium and small particles which reach the cylindrical filtering body B lowers and the medium and small particles pass through the cylindrical filtering body B as they keep an unchanged size distribution, so that the capturing and filtering function of the cylindrical filtering body B can be effective.
