      SOLUTION: The relay implement is a member which is used when a short strut is disposed between an existing structure and a wale disposed on an earth retaining wall surface therearound. The short strut relay implement comprises a structure patch attached to the surface of the existing structure, short strut patches attached to end surfaces of the short strut, respectively, and a plurality of support legs interposed between the parallel both plates in directions orthogonal to each other.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resistant reinforcement method capable of easily performing earthquake-resistant reinforcement and suppressing cost required for earthquake-resistant reinforcement while securing safety in the case where an existing building requiring earthquake-resistant reinforcement is a steel skeleton structure, and a structure thereof.SOLUTION: According to the earthquake-resistant reinforcement method, with respect to an existing building 1 constructed with frames 2 of a steel skeleton structure including existing poles 3 and existing beams 4, an earthquake-resistant strength of the existing building 1 to be immune to an earthquake is improved by a reinforcement member for reinforcing the frames 2. The frames 2 are reinforced by wire ropes 12 while satisfying the required earthquake resistance strength on the basis of an analysis result of the simulation.
