    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TFT liquid crystal display unit of which picture quality is protected from degradation due to insufficient writing to a TFT element.SOLUTION: A display unit includes a plurality of pixel electrodes arranged between two adjacent video signal lines along the extension direction of the video signal lines. The pixel electrodes include a pixel electrode connected to one video signal line of the two adjacent video signal lines through a TFT element, and a pixel electrode connected to the other video signal line of the two adjacent video signal lines through a TFT element, which are alternately arranged. The display unit further includes a correction circuit which compares the gradation of video data to be written to one pixel electrode of the plurality of pixel electrodes, and the gradation of video data to be written to a front-stage pixel electrode which is connected through a TFT element to the same video signal line as the video signal line connected to the one pixel electrode through a TFT element and located adjacent to a signal input end of the video signal line by one than the one pixel electrode so that the gradation of the video data to be written to the one pixel electrode is corrected.
