    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a plastic hinge and to absorb energy in earthquakes by pressure bonding a joint face between a beam and a column in the direction parallel to the fracture structure plane of the beam-column frame and by applying such a pressure bonding force as generating a frictional resistance in-plane shearing stress thereto. SOLUTION: A column 1 and a beam 2 are so constituted that their both side faces are jointed with each other and a perpendicular pressure bonding force is applied to the joint face 3 so as to generate a frictional resistance in-plane shearing stress. A prestressing strand with a sheath or more are arranged in such a state as shown by a dashed line 5, anchored using an anchorage device for fixing and tensioning, and a prescribed tensile force is applied to the prestressing strand so as to be pressure bonded. The rotation center of the joint part and the action center of the pressure bonding force are decentralized so that the rotation center of the joint face and the centroid are coincided. This constitution can provide a large damping effect in relation to the input of an earthquake energy, etc., reduce the cost of design and construction, and shorten the design term and the construction term.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure for reinforcing a connection portion of a steel pipe column, which can enhance a shear capacity by reinforcing the connection portion of the steel pipe column for being joined to a beam, from the outside.SOLUTION: A structure 10 for reinforcing a connection portion of a steel pipe column includes: the cylindrical steel pipe column 12; diaphragms 16 which are disposed in upper and lower positions of the connection portion 14 of the steel pipe column 12 and joined to an outer periphery of a steel pipe 30 by welding; a cylindrical outer steel pipe 18 which is externally inserted with a clearance with respect to the steel pipe 30 outside the steel pipe column 12 between the upper and lower diaphragms 16; and a plate 20 which is joined to the outer steel pipe 18 by welding between the upper and lower diaphragms 16. A flange 22B of a beam 22 is joined to an edge of the diaphragm 16 by welding, and a web 22A of the beam 22 and the plate 20 are frictionally joined together by a high-strength bolt 26 and a nut 28 in such a manner that a splice plate 24 is disposed in a surface contact state from both sides.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a column structure which increases the adhesion of a steel pipe to a filler infilled into the steel pipe, and a method for constructing the column structure.
      SOLUTION: The column structure 20 includes the steel pipe 12, a concrete precast member 14 which is arranged inside the steel pipe 12 in such a manner as to make a gap between itself and an inner wall of the steel pipe 12, and the filler 16 which is infilled into the gap between the steel pipe 12 and the precast member 14. In this case, the precast member 14 serves as a core material by infilling the filler 16 into the gap between the already hardened steel pipe 12 and the precast member 14; and the filling amount of filler 16 can also be reduced. Thus, the amount of hardening shrinkage of the filler 16 becomes smaller than in the case where the inside of the steel pipe 12 is filled with only concrete, so that the adhesion of the steel pipe 12 to the filler 16 can be enhanced.
