摘要： A liquid crystal projector comprises an illuminating optical system including a light source, a color separating optical system for separating illuminating light rays emitted by the illuminating optical system into light rays of three colors, a projection lens unit comprising a projection lens, a cross dichroic prism disposed near a light receiving end of the projection lens, and a plurality of liquid crystal panels arranged around the cross dichroic prism, and a light source power supply for supplying power to the light source. The projection lens unit, the color separating optical system, the illuminating optical system and the light source power supply are arranged in that order. The liquid crystal projector has an outside size in a horizontal plane of 263 mm by 318 mm or below. The liquid crystal panels have a display screen size of 0.9 in. A cooling fan for cooling the plurality of liquid crystal panels is disposed beside the projection lens.

摘要： A multi-display apparatus includes a plurality of rear projection-type display devices each in which projection light from image sources is projected through projection lenses onto a rear projection surface of a rear projection screen to form a picture image on a front viewing surface of the rear projection screen, the plurality of rear projection-type display devices being combined together in contiguous relation to one another to form a large screen. An overall front viewing surface of the large screen is formed into a concave surface curved both in a horizontal visibility angle direction and a vertical visibility angle direction. A light-absorbing portion is formed on the front viewing surface of the rear projection screen, and the light-absorbing portion absorbs projection light which passes through one rear projection screen, and is incident as external light on another rear projection screen, thereby preventing a picture image from being degraded.

摘要： A transmission having at least one variable outer diameter pulley which includes a generally cylindrical pipe having four equally spaced penetrating holes radially disposed in its cylindrical wall, a sealing means having a diaphragm positioned adjacent each of the penetrating holes and fitted to the pipe support, and sliders forming a pulley peripheral face fitted into each penetrating hole to be able to slide smoothly. Each slider is moved by diaphragms in a direction so the pulley outer diameter expands by compressed air supplied through a fluid supply passage in a rotary axle which supports the pulley. Exhausting the compressed air causes the pulley outer diameter to decrease and restores the pulley to its original size by a tension coil spring around the pulley periphery.

摘要： A multiplex transmission system of this invention includes a plurality of multiplex nodes interconnected by a common multiplex transmission line. A plurality of groups of different combinations of the multiplex nodes are predetermined, and a frame of data is transmitted among the multiplex nodes through the multiplex transmission line. The data frame includes a group specifying area specifying a group of nodes from which an acknowledge signal is to be returned. When a data frame transmitted from a sending node is received, each multiplex node determines whether or not it belongs to the group specified by bits in the group specifying area of the transmitted frame. When the data frame is properly received, only those multiplex nodes which belong to the specified group return the acknowledge signals to an acknowledge signal area in the data frame in accordance with the bits in the group specifying area, whereby the transmission efficiency is improved.

摘要： A multipath transmission system according to the present invention comprises a plurality of multiplex nodes connected to two multiplex buses. Each of the multiplex nodes is assigned to a specific apparatus, and includes a communication control circuit (LSI) for fetching multiplex signals from the apparatus and transmitting the multiplex signals to the multiplex buses. One multiplex node, out of the plurality of multiplex nodes, includes communication control circuits driver/receiver circuits, and troubleshooting driver/receiver circuits, which are connected to the multiplex buses and used for signal transfer between the buses, and a microprocessor for troubleshooting the multiplex buses and the multiplex nodes. The multiplex node relays a failure signal, corresponding to the result of troubleshooting, to the other network which suffers no trouble.

摘要： A simple formation method of an insulating pattern having an eaves portion using one light-exposure mask is provided. As the formation method of an insulating pattern having an eaves portion, first, a first photosensitive organic layer is formed over a substrate, and then a first region is exposed to light with the use of a light-exposure mask, so that a leg portion is formed. After that, a second photosensitive organic layer is formed, the light-exposure mask is moved in the direction parallel to the substrate, and then a second region partly overlapping with the first region is exposed to light plural times, so that a stage portion is formed. The insulating pattern formed by this method may be applied to the light-emitting device or the lighting device.
