    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile-weaving method by which the removal of a pile is prevented; and to provide a pile fabric woven by the method.
      SOLUTION: The pile-weaving method for weaving ground weft yarns with ground warp yarns in combination with pile warp yarns comprises subjecting the ground weft yarn to twist setting treatment after twisting to stop the twist function, weaving the fabric by using the resultant ground weft yarns, and subjecting the woven fabric to twist-setting-releasing treatment for releasing the twist setting of the ground weft yarns to recover the twist function and to prevent the removal of the pile warp yarn. The ground warp yarns alternately engage with the neighboring two ground weft yarns, and the pile warp yarns are woven into pile shapes without engaging with the two ground weft yarns positioned at the both sides of the two ground weft yarns.
