摘要： An antistatic film comprising a chemically adsorbed film of straight chain molecules each containing a conductive group and provided on a chargeable substrate via covalent bonds each containing a Si group, said chemically adsorbed film having a conductivity of 10.sup.-10 S/cm or above. With the antistatic chemically adsorbed film according to the invention, conductive functional groups are secured via chemically adsorbed molecules and by siloxane bonds to the surface of a substrate material such as ceramics, glass, synthetic resins or synthetic fibers, a film, a plate, an display screen surface, a light-emitting tube. Thus, the film provides an antistatic effect and does not separate. In addition, this chemically adsorbed film has a thickness at the nanometer level and is thus excellently transparent, as well as capable of preventing contamination of the substrate surface due to charging thereof. The film is also excellently durable. Further, when a chemically adsorbed polymer film is formed, a high molecular density, chemically adsorbed film can be obtained.

摘要： A chemically adsorbed film containing hydrophilic groups is formed on a substrate such that it is chemically bonded by Si covalent bonds to the substrate. The adsorbed film has an improved hydrophilic property. In addition,the film provides an excellently durable and transparent fog-proof substrate. According to the method of the invention, a substrate containing hydrophilic groups is contacted with a non-aqueous solution containing a surface active material having straight chain molecules each having at one end a chlorosilyl group and at the other end at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a bromo group, iodo group, cyano group, thiocyano group, chlorosilyl group etc. to cause a dehydrochlorination reaction between hydrophilic groups on the substrate surface and chlorosilyl groups of the surface active material, thereby forming a chemically adsorbed film on the substrate surface. The functional group at the other end of the surface active material is converted into at least one hydrophilic group selected from the group consisting of --OH, --COOH, --NH.sub.2, .dbd.NH, --N.sup.+ R.sub.3 X.sup.- (X representing a halogen atom, R represents a loner alkyl group), --NO.sub.2, --SH, and --SO.sub.3 H groups.

摘要： The invention seeks to provide a substrate such as metal, ceramic, plastic, and glass material having a fluorine-based coating film having strong adhesion to a surface of the substrate. The substrate material comprises a monomolecular or polymer adsorption film formed on a base substrate surface and having siloxane bonds and a fluorine-based coating film provided on the adsorption film. The invention also seeks to provide a method of manufacturing a substrate material having a fluorine coating, which is simple and does not involve any electrolytic etching step. The method comprises a step of forming a monomolecular or polymer adsorbed film having --Si-- bonds from dehydrochlorination or dealchoholation the bonded on the substrate surface and causing a silane-based surface active material, capable of reaction with an active hydrogen, to be brought in contact with the substrate surface, and laminating a fluorine-based polymer bonded by a cross-linking reaction process on the adsorbed film.

The optical recording medium is obtained by forming a chemically adsorbed film composed of fluorocarbon chain surface active material. The chemically adsorbed film is chemically bonded via siloxane covalent bonds. In the method of manufacture, an optical recording medium, e.g., an optical recording disk, is contacted with a solution which is made by dissolving a straight carbon chain surface active material having a chlorosilyl group at one end and a fluorocarbon group at the other end in a non-aqueous solvent or a gaseous phase condition, thereby chemically bonding the chlorosilane-based straight chain surface active material to the surface of the substrate via covalent siloxane bonds.

摘要： Disclosed is an ornament with a thin film formed on the ornament surface. The thin film includes a fluorocarbon-based adsorbed monomolecular film, and the thin film is covalently bonded to the ornament. By contacting the ornament with the non-aqueous solution containing a chlorosilane group at one end and a fluorocarbon chain at the other end, a reaction occurs between hydroxyl groups at the ornament surface and the chlorosilyl groups of the material having a plurality of chlorosilyl groups. A monomolecular film which is covalently bonded to the ornament surface is thereby obtained. A thin, fluorine-containing, monomolecular film thus can be formed on the ornament such that it is chemically bonded to the ornament. The film is anti-contaminating, water- and oil-repelling, durable and does not spoil the intrinsic luster of the ornament.

摘要： According to the invention, a durable hydrophilic absorbed film is formed on the surface of a substrate including metals, glass, plastics and the like in which the substrate has a surface layer containing hydroxyl groups or imino groups. The film is formed by covalently bonding chemical absorbents of silane groups containing a pluralilty of chloro groups to the substrate surfaces. The substrate 1 such as glass or nylon is dipped and held in a non-aqueous solution containing fluorocarbon groups and hydrocarbon groups containing chemical absorbents of silane groups containing a plurality of chloro groups including SiCl.sub.4, Cl.sub.3 SiOSiCl.sub.3, HSiCl.sub.3 or Cl.sub.3 SiOSiCl.sub.2 OSiCl.sub.3. After taking out the substrate 1 from the solution, drying it in a low moisture or substantially moistureless atmosphere to remove said non-aqueous solvents, the substrate is exposed to the air. A hydrophilic adsorbed ultra-thin film is thus formed by a dehydrochlorination reaction.
