    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonmagnetic single component developing device by which a uniform image characteristic can be obtained and which is excellent high image quality and high resolution by eliminating both reduction in the image rear end concentration and reduction in the image tip concentration. SOLUTION: A nonmagnetic single component developing device is provided with a developing roller 9 where a layer of toner 7 being a nonmagnetic single component developer is formed on a surface and on which developing bias voltage is impressed, a toner supply roller 10 which is arranged in contact in a rear part of the developing roller 9 and rotates/replenishes the toner 7 on/to the developing roller 9 and a toner regulating blade 11 to regulate a toner quantity by being brought into pressure contact with the developing roller 9. The toner supply roller 10 is composed of a conductive member, and is provided with a toner supply roller bias power source 1A to impress AC voltage on the toner supply roller 10, and the magnitude of developing bias voltage is set in VB (V), the magnitude of inter-peak voltage of AC voltage is set in VP- P (V), and the roller is constituted so as to satisfy the relationship of |VP- P|>2|VB|.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which no white streaks appear in an image, by equipping a film which comes into contact with a developing roller on the downstream side along the rotational direction of the developing roller relative to a reprenishing roller for supplying the developing roller with toner. SOLUTION: A film 11 which comes into contact with a developing roller 8 is equipped on the upstream side along the rotational direction of the developing roller 8 relative to a layer thinning blade 10 for thinning toner on the developing roller 8, and at the same time, on the developing roller 8 the downstream side along the rotational direction of the developing roller 8 relative to a reprenishing roller 9 for supplying the developing roller 8 with toner. Soft coagulation of toner, before it reaches the layer thinning blade 10, is shattered to pieces by the toner coagulation sticking preventing film 11 and therefore the toner is prevented from sticking to the layer thinning blade 10. Accordingly, white blemishing can be prevented from appearing in an image by equipped the toner coagulation sticking preventing film 11 which comes into contact with the developing roller 8.

    • PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the rise of transfer voltage without damaging transfer property even if resistance of a transfer roller is increased due to an environment and a production process, by performing constant current control for a transfer bias power source, in the roller transfer system. CONSTITUTION: This image forming device is provided with an electrostatic latent image carrier 1, an exposure part for forming the electrostatic latent image by irradiating a surface of the electrostatic latent image carrier 1 with exposure light beams 4, the developing part for turning the electrostatic latent image to the toner image by arranging the toner thin layer formed on the developing roller 5 surface in contact with or close to the electrostatic latent image carrier surface, and a transfer part for transferring the toner image onto a recording paper 15. The electrostatic latent image is turned to the toner image by the developing part, while the toner image on the electrostatic latent image carrier is transferred on the recording paper 15 by the transfer part, applying the roller transfer system with use of the transfer roller 20, and moreover the transfer bias impressed to the transfer roller 20 is applied with the constant current control, and a conductive member 25 is provided on a position contacting to the transfer paper on the front side or rear side of the transfer roller 20.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the frictional resistance of an elastic developing roller with a toner regulating blade, a photosensitive body and a recovery seal, etc., which are arranged in contact with the developing roller by forming a toner layer on the surface of the elastic developing roller from the beginning of producing a developing device. CONSTITUTION:The toner layer 17 is formed on the surface of the elastic developing roller 1 which carries toner 7 to the surface of the photosensitive body 5 from the time when the device is not used. By thus forming the toner layer 17 on the periphery of the roller 1, the particles of the toner 7 lie between the roller 1 and the toner regulating blade 4, the photosensitive body 5, the recovery sheet 6, and a toner replenishing roller 2 which contact elastically with the roller 1. Therefore, in the case that the particles of the toner do not exist, the sum of the rolling friction of the toner 7 with the roller 1 and the toner 7 with the respective contact members is obtained though sliding friction is obtained between the roller 1 and the respective contact members, so that the initial driving torque of the developing device immediately after attaching an unused developing device to device main body is made small.
