    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous film which can be manufactured simply even when it is a thick film, and to provide its method for manufacturing.
      SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the porous film includes a process to form a primary film having a matrix part formed from a matrix material and a porogen part formed from a porogen material, a contact process to make contact between a functional group reactive to the surface of the matrix part and a reinforced matrix material having atomic bond composing the matrix part with the primary film in the temperature range of 100°C-500°C, and a removing process to remove the porogen material from the primary film. In the primary film forming process, when the number of molecules of the matrix raw material which becomes the base of the matrix material is set to A, the number of hydrophilic functional groups contained in the porogen material is set to B, and the film thickness of the porous film is set to T (unit of μm), the each amount of the matrix raw material and the porogen material is adjusted so as to satisfy the equation (1): B/A>0.83+0.54logT.
