Further, the underground contaminant B which tends to permeate under the ground is decomposed to the harmless substance by the bacteria through the passing through the concrete 3. Accordingly, the contamination of a construction can be removed by utilizing the self purifying action by miroorganisms.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain the biodeodorizer which obviates the splashing of deodorizing microorganisms by providing sterilizers having the ability to inactivate the deodorizing microorganisms in the inlet and outlet of a biodeodorizing chamber. CONSTITUTION:The biodeodorizing chamber 2 is disposed in the housing 5 of the biodeodorizing device with the sterilizers. The deodorizing microorganisms are effectively nonactivated when the microorganisms are irradiated with UV rays at about 1000muW/cm intensity, by which the splashing of the deodorizing microorganisms is effectively prevented. Namely, the exhaust air from the biodeodorizing device 1 is the clean air which is not only subjected to the deodorization but also subjected to the removal of the deodorizing microorganisms.

Further, since the carrier is granular, the resistance of bacteria to substrate transport is reduced and digestion reaction is fast.

CONSTITUTION:The bottom surface of a peat layer 5 forms a saturation sphere C by coming into contact with the water surface of a basin portion 3, so a transfer sphere B and a low humidity sphere A are formed in order at the adjoining upper place of the peat layer 5. When stink gas is ventilated upward into the saturation sphere C, water evaporates out of the saturation sphere C, and the humidity of stink gas is saturated, and the dryness of the adjoining upper portion of the peat layer 5 is prevented, and the peat layer 5 as a whole maintains an adequate water amount. In addition, water evaporating from the saturation sphere C is replenished in order due to a capillary phenomenon through contact between the water surface of the basin portion 3 and the bottom surface of the peat layer 5. Accordingly, the peat layer 5 can be supplied with water continuously from the lower part.
