The body has a leg (26) depending at an end thereof for engaging with a retention module (50), and a central pressing tab (24) for being received in a groove (76) defined in a heat sink (70). The body further has a joint portion (28) at another end thereof. Cutouts (33) are defined in the joint portion to form a pair of deformable protrusions (35) and a U-shaped head (36). A rib (38) is formed on the body for reinforcing the clip. The fastener has a retaining portion (42). The retaining portion includes a slot (44) for receiving the head, and an aperture (46) for engaging with an ear (64) formed on the retention module. The protrusions are deformed to secure the fastener to the body.

    • An ejector mechanism for a memory card connector comprising a housing, a shroud retained in a stationary relationship with respect to the housing, a pushing bar slidably mounted to the shroud. A separated elongate member having an integral stop is secured to the pushing bar. A coil spring is provided about the elongate member and compressed between a portion of the elongate member and the shroud. The coil spring urges the elongate member relative to the shroud to a resting position where the stop of the elongate member abuts against the shroud. With the stop integral with the elongate member to serve as a stop arrangement, the elongate member is prevented from disengaging from the rest of the pushing bar.

    • A liquid cooling system includes a cooling body (10), and a liquid circulation module (20). The cooling body comprises a cooling base (11) for thermally contacting a heat source, and a heat sink (14) mounted on the cooling base. An internal flow path is defined in the cooling body, for heat exchange with coolant. At least two passages (15) are formed through the heat sink. The liquid circulation module defines a plurality of external flow paths coupled to the internal flow path of the cooling base, thereby forming a loop for circulation of the coolant. The external flow paths comprises at least two output paths extending through the at least two passages of the heat sink, and along which the coolant that exits the internal flow path passes through the heat sink for cooling.

    • A heat sink clip assembly (1) for attaching a heat sink (5) on a CPU (7) includes a retention frame (10), and a pair of clips (20) pivotally attached to two sides of the retention frame. Each clip includes a main body (21), and a handle (41) pivotally attached to the main body. The main body includes a cross beam (23), and two locking arms (31) respectively depending from opposite ends of the cross beam. Each locking arm defines a locking hole (33) at a distal end. The handle has a cam portion (47) at one end thereof. The clips are pivoted outwardly to make way for the heat sink to seat on the CPU. Then the clips are pivoted upwardly, so that the cross beam is suspended above the heat sink. The handle is pivoted downwardly so that the cam portion presses the heat sink to the CPU.

When the operating arm is rotated to raise the main body, the tongues guide the guiding portions and cause the hooks to tightly engage in locking holes (62) of a retention module (60).

    • A heat dissipation device includes a heat sink (20), heat pipes (30), a frame (40), and a fan (50). Each heat pipe has a lower first connecting portion (32) and an upper second connecting portion (34). The heat sink includes a base (21), and parallel fins (27) attached on the base. The base includes a top plate (25), and defines a hermetically sealed chamber. Apertures (23) are defined in one side wall (22) of the base, the apertures receiving the first connecting portions. Through holes (29) are transversely defined through the fins, the through holes receiving the second connecting portions. The frame includes an upper plate (41), and two side plates (47). Two arms (49) of each side plate secures the frame on the heat sink. In operation, working liquid in the chamber transfers heat to the top plate and to the second connecting portions by phase transition.
