CONSTITUTION:The pressure sensor 13 such as a bellows provided in the case 14 of altitude compensator 1 is expanded due to a drop of atmospheric pressure as the car runs from lowlands to highlands, the rod 17 is moved leftwards against an elastic force of the operation lever 19. The pressure sensor 13 is expanded to make the operation lever 19 contact with the metric needle 22, and when it is further expanded, the metric needle is moved leftwards against the spring 23, the orifice 21 is opened to feed compensating air to the main well 8 of carburetor through the feed port 4.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an air-fuel ratio from fluctuating when a valve seat is opened, by a method wherein when closing a bypass mixture supplying passage, a fuel tending to stagnate in proximity to a valve seat is caused to flow out through a leak passage. CONSTITUTION:A mixture bypass fuel system is constituted of an air passage 8 communicated with a fuel nozzle hole 7, an air-adjusting screw 9 for adjusting the cross-sectional area of the passage 8, a solenoid valve 10, the valve seat 12 located in the passage 8 oppositely to a plunger 11 for the valve 10 and a bypass mixture supplying passage 13. In addition, the leak passage 14 bypassing the valve seat 12 is provided in the main body 1 of a carburetor. Accordingly, even when the solenoid valve 10 is closed, the fuel stagnating at a lower part of the plunger 11 automatically flows out into the passage 13 through the leak passage 14 and a leak passage 15.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the release of evaporated fuel into the air by installing a valve body which opens and closes in communication with the turning of a throttle and introducing the fuel vapour which is generated in a float chamber into an intake cylinder in car traveling and into a canister in the stoppage of car traveling. CONSTITUTION:In idliing operation or stoppage of an engine, namely when a car is not in traveling state, the turning of a throttle valve 21 is little, and a vertical lever 19 rises up, and the right-hand end of a small lever 18 is in pushed-up state. Then, a large lever 16 is turned leftward by the force of a coil spring 17, and pushes down a valve shaft 11 against the spring force of a compression spring 12, and the lower surface of a valve body 10 is pressed onto the valve seat 15a. The communication between the space part of a float chamber 6 and a vent pipe 5 is intercepted, and said space part communicates to a canister passage 9. Accordingly, the adsorption of fuel vapour in the float chamber 6 onto the filler in the canister is kept, and the fuel vapour is not released outside, so environmental pollution can be prevented.

CONSTITUTION:Main system of a carburetor comprises a main jet 1 for measuring fuel, a main air bleed for measuring air and a Venturi 3 for mixing measured fuel and air and delivering mixture gas. Take-in port 5 of air to be measured through the main air bleed 2 is arranged in the upstream of a choke valve 4. An air path 7 for leading air through the take-in port 5 into a main air bleed chamber 6 is formed as an independent path. Consequently, air can be led through the take-in port 5 and the air path 7 into the main air bleed chamber 6 without influence of motion of the choke valve 4, resulting in suppression of disturbance of air flow.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent deviation of fuel injected through 2 injecting valves and to improve distributing characteristics of fuel, by providing an isolating body through which the middle between 2 injection vlaves is interconnected to the upper peripheral part of a throttle valve when the throttle valve is fully opened. CONSTITUTION:A fuel injection assembly 10 comprises upper and lower bodies 12 and 14, and a suction passage 16 is formed in the two bodies. A suspension member 22 is integrally formed to the upper part 12, and 2 injection valves 24L and 24R are contained therein. A throttle valve stem 28, located in a position allowing a distance between extension lines of the axes of the two injecting valves 24L and 24R to be divided into 2 equal parts, is extended through the lower body 14 and a throttle valve 30 is secured thereto. In this constitution, the one side of an isolating body 32, formed with a flat laminar metal sheet bent in an L-shape at right angles, is mounted between the upper and lower bodied 12 and 14, and the other side is extended along a plane passing the central axis of the throttle stem 28. This forms a wall which equally divides a portion between the extension lines of the central axes of the two injecting valves 24L and 24R.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of cooling water in a top-closed cylindrical housing with a heat sensing body inside by holding the said housing and the heat-sensing body with elastic contact between parallel two elastic faces of a U-bent elastic plate for obtaining secure positioning. CONSTITUTION:In an auto-choke, a choke valve 1 and a throttle valve 2 of a carburetter are operated in linkage via a first idle cam 3, a coupling rod 14, and others, and openings of these valves 1 and 2 are properly controlled by the expansion of a heat-sensing body 18 in a heat-sensing body housing 4 into which engine cooling water is introduced via above-said cam 3 and others. At this point, the above-said housing 4 and the heat-sensing body 18 are held in one body at a fixed state by bringing an upper piece 22a and a lower piece 22b mutually faced on a frame piece 22 composed of a U-bent elastic plate respectively in contact with the top periphery of the housing 4 and the free surface of a projection 19 on the opening end of the heat-sensing body. This construction permits to prevent the leakage of engine cooling water by moving the heat- sensing body 18 relatively to the housing 4.
