    • PURPOSE:To improve especially re-startability at the time of high temperature in an air vent part of a carburetor for an internal combustion chamber by closing an air vent passage at the time of high temperatural, and by opening it at the time of low temperature, and by providing structure parts which are formed of an opening memory alloy. CONSTITUTION:At an upper side of an air vent part 3 in a carburetor 1 which has a float chamber 2, there is a flap valve 14 which is formed of an opening memory alloy. In a hot soak at the time of stoppage of an engine, according to the raise of atmospheric temperature, the flap valve 14 is deformed in the form of a memory shape so as to close the air vent part 3. Consequently, the float chamber 2 is sealed, and flowing-out of evaporation fuel into an intake pipe is prevented. When the ambient temperature is decreased after the start-up of the engine, the flap valve 14 is resumed to the initial shape, and then the float chamber 2 is connected to the intake pipe. Inside pressure and pressure of the float chamber 2 are thus made equal, and fuel injection from a nozzle 13 is performed finely.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the operation performance of an engine with the full opening of a secondary valve immediately after the start of the engine, by providing a solenoid valve in an atmosphere communication passage, and connecting the passage to a negative pressure passage for operating a diaphragm for opening the secondary valve, which is operated by the negative pressure at both the primary and secondary Venturi portions of a combined carburetor, so as to open the solenoid valve to keep the secondary valve from being opened when the temperature of the engine is low. CONSTITUTION:Pieces of negative pressure, which are obtained through negative pressure takeout ports 48, 50 opened into the Venturi portions of primary passage 14 and secondary passage 16 of a combined carburetor 10, are applied to the chamber 58 of a diaphragm 54 through a passage 62 to open a secondary throttle valve 38 depending on the pieces of negative pressure. An atmosphere communication passage 66 is connected to the passage 62. A solenoid valve 68 is provided for an orifice 70 in the passage 66. When the temperature of an engine is low, the solenoid valve 68 is opened to apply the atmospheric pressure to the chamber 58 of the diaphragm 54 to keep the secondary throttle valve 38 from being opened. Therefore, the secondary throttle valve 38 is not opened though a primary throttle valve is fully opened immediately after the start of the engine at the low temperature, so as to prevent the decrease in the ratio of fuel to air to enhance the operation performance of the engine.

    • PURPOSE: To both reduce a number of part items belonging to a microswitch and improve its waterproof and vibration resistance, by fixing the microswitch, on-off operated by sliding motion of a piston rod interlocking to a throttle valve, to a prescribed place in a charburetor.
      CONSTITUTION: A carburetor main unit part consists of a choke chamber 1, metering chamber 2 and main body 3, and operation of a throttle valve shaft is transmitted to an accelerator pump through a piston rod 5 and connecting lever 4. Here an adjusting screw 7 is mounted to an end part of the above described lever 4 to lock looseness of a spring 8 simultaneously a rubber cap 6 is mounted to a choke chamber 1 located in the upper part of the screw 7. Then a microswitch 9 detecting an opening degree of the throttle valve with on-off operation by sliding motion of the above described rod 5 is arrranged in a space provided in the metering chamber 2 and fixed by a leaf spring 10 arranged in the lower part and the choke chamber 1.
