摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a mutual connection network which reduces the overhead of communication software by transferring plural successive packets successively in a high-speed mutual connection network that is applicable for parallel processing when the mutual connection network can be utilized as a network for decentralized processing. CONSTITUTION: A computer node 100 is equipped with a packet transfer adapter 110, which makes a packet communication with another computer node 100 through a packet communication network 190. Packets sent from the packet transfer adapter 110 have successive reception indication information and when the successive reception indication information is ON, the packet communication network 190 does not release a packet transfer path from the same transmission- side computer even after the packet transfer, so that the reception-side computer can receive packets successively from the same transmission-side computer by the function. This constitution can, therefore, improve the overhead of the communication software by transferring plural successive packets successively in the mutual connection network.

Concretely, the whole data are transferred altogether (211) when the size is small. When the size is large, only a page having a difference between shared data stored in a sending original computer and a sent destination computer is transferred (212). Since the amt. of transfer data and transfer frequency are reduced by using a transfer control system corresponding to each size of shared data, network resources can be effectively utilized.

The data processors 3a and 3b function as the routers between the networks 1 and 2, the data processor 3c functions as a router between the networks 2 and 5, and the data processor 4b functions as a router between the networks 1 and 5 respectively. Then the network traffic load flowing between the processors 3a and 3b functioning as a router between the networks 1 and 2 is obtained. Thus, a route is selected based on the obtained traffic load to dynamically keep the balance of the network traffic between the processors 3a and 3b.
