    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain space-saving by combining and arranging an improved battery with the other member at the inside of a take-up spool at a camera using the improved battery capable of being repeatedly discharged and charged. SOLUTION: As for the camera where a main battery 34 is charged by a charging circuit by having an auxiliary battery 40 such as an AA type battery or the like as a charging power source and power is supplied to the camera circuit of a film feeding motor 30 or the like from the main battery 34; the film feeding motor 30 and the main battery 34 are arranged up and down at the inside of the take-up spool 28. Then, a main battery housing case 35 surrounding the periphery of the main battery 34 is provided, so that the rotating take-up spool 28 is prevented from being brought into direct contact with the main battery 34, and also the positive electrode of the main battery 34 is made to directly abut on a printed circuit board 46, so that an armature member is eliminated. Also, the housing part of the main battery 34 is made to have a light-shielded structure by the main battery housing case 35, so that light is prevented from entering the inside of a spool chamber at the time of exchanging the main battery 34.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a battery for silver salt film photography and a battery for electronic still photography in common, to eliminate the need of a battery only used for electronic still photography and to make a camera small in size and light in weight by supplying power to a 2nd camera part from the electric circuit for light emission of a stroboscopic device. SOLUTION: The power is supplied to a digital still camera(DSC) power source part 186 from a stroboscopic circuit 180. A stroboscope is always repeatedly charged in terms of a control program so that it can emit light any time. Since the stroboscope scarcely emits light at the time of photographing, it is usually repeatedly charged wastefully. The power consumed for such wasteful charge and discharge is effectively utilized by the power source part 186 and the battery for the power source part 186 provided independently in the conventional manner is disused. Since voltage for stroboscopic light emission is usually near to 300 V, the voltage of about 300 V supplied to an input part is made to drop and supplied to a rectifying and smoothing part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the focusing of a 1st photographing optical system in a state where a substrate is attached to the rear of an aperture surface by arranging the substrate of an imaging device so as to keep away from a range where the light for focusing of a 1st photographing optical system passes. SOLUTION: The focusing of an APS photographing lens executed after the assembly of a composite camera is performed by arranging a light source in front of the APS photographing lens and arranging a collimator on an opposite side to the light source by putting the APS photographing lens in between. A pressing plate 115 is attached to the specified position of an aperture 112, and a through-hole 115A is formed in a range where the light for focusing from the light source passes on the plate 115. The substrate 126 is attached to a position where it is kept away from the range where the light for focusing passes. Therefore, the focusing of the APS photographing lens is executed in a state where the substrate 126 is attached to the rear of the aperture 112, and the substrate 126 need not be detached in the case of readjustment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a composite camera consisting of an APS camera and an electronic still camera by arranging the mechanical machinery part of the APS camera on the first side of a camera main body, arranging the image processing circuit part of the electronic still camera on the back side of the mechanical machinery part and arranging a control substrate for generally controlling the composite camera at the upper parts of the mechanical machinery part and the image processing circuit part. SOLUTION: By arranging the mechanical machinery part 102 of the APS camera part on the front side of the camera main body and arranging the image processing circuit part 114 of the electronic still camera part on the back side of the machinery part 102, the space in the thickness direction of the camera main body is efficiently used. By arranging the control substrate 112 for generally controlling the composite camera 10 on the upper parts of the machinery part 103 and the circuit part 114, the space in the height direction of the camera main body 100 is efficiently used.
