    • A discharge system is proposed which serves to introduce volatilized fuel into an intake tube of an internal combustion engine. The discharge system includes a discharge regulation valve, which on one side is located at an outlet line of an absorber element that emits volatilized fuel and on the other side is located at an outflow line which leads to the intake tube downstream of a throttle device. The discharge regulation valve includes a bottom portion and a cover between which one end of a leaf spring is firmly fastened. The other end of the leaf spring is loosely guided in a gap between the bottom portion and the cover. An armature is joined to the leaf spring and a valve closing body is secured to the armature remote from the leaf spring. A core is secured on a magnet housing disposed in the bottom portion and has a through conduit, which at one end terminates at a valve seat. An electromagnetic coil is disposed in the magnet housing and is triggerable in a clocked manner by an electronic control unit in accordance with engine operating characteristics. The spacing between the valve seat and the valve closing body adjusts automatically in accordance with the pressure difference at the valve seat.

    • In a method for cutting structural components to be joined by laser radiation that is guided by a computer-controlled manipulation system provided with a nominal path for each structural component corresponding to a joining line that is curved as a result of at least one of the structural components being three-dimensionally shaped, the structural component surfaces of the structural components including the joining line are determined measuring technologically. Based on measuring results, the nominal path corresponding to a penetration line of the structural components to be joined is calculated. A marking is formed on a first one of the structural component surfaces. When performing the cut on the structural component surface provided with the marking, the resulting cutting gap and the marking are determining measuring technologically. When a deviation of the cutting gap from the nominal path is detected, the manipulation system is controlled to correct the deviation.

    • A boiling water reactor has a control element disposed in a water pond. An apparatus for the neutron-radiography testing of the control element includes a film cassette having a recording area. A water-free hood is fitted over the control element. The hood has an open bottom and a wall facing the film cassette. The wall has an opening formed therein with a cross section corresponding to the recording area. A holding device fits over the opening for receiving the film cassette. The holding device has a downwardly open side extended below the opening through which the film cassette is to be introduced into the water-free space in the holding device. A neutron source, a collimator and the film cassette lie in one measurement plane. The opening in the hood wall reduces the proportion of scattered neutrons and the impairment of image quality caused by a film of water remaining between the hood wall and the film cassette and by the hood wall itself, in prior art devices in which the film cassette is disposed outside the hood.
