    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing graft copolymer which excels in mechanical properties, enables melt molding as the properties of a resin, simultaneously possesses flexibility as the properties of a rubber, and is easy to crosslink. SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing graft copolymer (A-B) is obtained by a manufacturing method comprising a step (I) of polymerizing a fluorine-containing resinous fluorine-containing segment-forming monomer (a1) and an iodine or bromine-terminated monomer (a2) in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator to obtain an initial polymer (A1) and a step (II) of subjecting a monomer (b1) for forming an elastomeric fluorine-containing segment (B) containing at least one fluorine-containing olefin to polymerization in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator to form a graft chain using the iodine or bromine of the initial polymer (A1) as a point of initiating polymerization on to the initial polymer (A1) with respect to the iodine or bromine-containing initial polymer (A1) obtained in the step (I).     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition of a vinylidene fluoride elastomer, assuring improved crosslinking speed by using an inexpensive curing agent, and to provide a molded article obtained from the curable composition, wherein physical properties under normal conditions are improved by the coexistence of a solvent having affinity for a compound generating ammonia.SOLUTION: A curable composition comprises (A) a vinylidene fluoride elastomer which is a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride (a1), at least one perfluoroolefin (a2) selected from the group consisting of tetrafluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene and perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether) and a cyano group-containing monomer (a3) (provided that a copolymerization rate of the vinylidene fluoride exceeds 20% by mole), and (B) a compound generating ammonia at 40 to 330°C alone as a curing agent.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block copolymer and a composition for peroxide vulcanization, both maintaining the cold resistance of a cold-resistant fluorine-containing rubber and exhibiting a hardness as low as possible and an excellent fuel-low-permeability; and automobile parts of fuel systems prepared by molding the composition.
      SOLUTION: The block copolymer only consists of: a fluorine-containing elastomer segment (A) having a composition which has either (1) the composition ratio of a vinylidene fluoride/perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymer being 50-85/15-50 mol% or (2) the composition ratio of a vinylidene fluoride/tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether being 45-85/1-30/14-30 mol%; and a fluorine-containing resin segment (B) melt-moldable with the fluorine-containing elastomer segment (A). The block copolymer has iodine atoms and can be vulcanized with a peroxide.
