As a hot dipped galvanized steel sheet with excellent mechanical properties including a tensile strength of 50 to 70 kg/mm^2 and an elongation of at least 25%, a galvanized steel sheet is manufactured by subjecting a steel slab having a chemical composition comprising, by weight percent, 0.06 to 0.1% of C, 0.05 to 0.3% of Si, 0.5 to 2.5% of Mn, 0.03 to 0.8% of Co and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities to an ordinary hot rolling process, coiling the hot rolled steel sheet, cold rolling the coiled steel sheet, heating the cold rolled steel sheet in an annealing furnace to subject the steel sheet to a recrystallization annealing at 740 to 840 deg.C for 1 to 5 minutes, cooling the recrystallization annealed steel sheet at a rate of 5 to 200 deg.C/sec to transform the recrystallization annealed steel sheet into a steel sheet with a refinement structure, heating the steel sheet to a temperature of 300 to 580 deg.C, holding the steel sheet at that temperature, subjecting the steel sheet to a galvanizing process in a galvanizing bath, subjecting the galvanized steel sheet to an alloying heat treatment at a temperature of 460 to 600 deg.C, and finally cooling the allying heat treated steel sheet to obtain a steel sheet with a composite structure of three phases including ferrite, martensite, and retained austenite uniformly distributed in the martensite.

The batch annealing heat treatment method comprises performing the heat treatment process such that carbides are uniformly distributed in grains and grain boundaries of the structure of a steel sheet product.
