(The ester is a compound obtained by condensation reaction between an oxo acid of an organic acid or inorganic acid and a compound having a hydroxyl group.) In the expressions, Re(550) represents a retardation value in a plane direction at a wavelength of 550 nm; and Rth(550) represents a retardation value in a film thickness direction at a wavelength of 550 nm.
