摘要： A vehicle engine start control device controls a crank angle such that the crank angle falls within a predetermined crank angle stop range when an engine is automatically stopped, the vehicle engine start control device starting the automatically stopped engine if a predetermined engine start condition is satisfied, the vehicle including an automatic transmission making up a portion of a power transmission path between the engine and drive wheels, and the vehicle engine start control device providing engine rotation resistance control such that rotation resistance of the engine generated due to a change in air pressure in a combustion chamber of the engine is made larger during an automatic stop period of the engine that the engine is automatically stopped and during a change in gear ratio in a shift of the automatic transmission as compared to the time of engine start.

During motor running for running with output torques from the first electric motor and the second electric motor used together in an actuated state of the lock mechanism, a drive torque shared by the first electric motor is made smaller in a requested drive torque when a rotation speed of a pinion making up the differential mechanism is higher.

The electric steplessly speed changing unit includes a differential mechanism including a first rotary element to which an engine is coupled, a second rotary element to which a first rotary machine is coupled, and a third rotary element as an output rotary member of the differential mechanism to which a second rotary machine is coupled. Differential operation of the electric steplessly speed changing unit is controlled by controlling operation of the first rotary machine. The engaging device is provided in a power transmission path between the third rotary element and drive wheels. In control of the hybrid vehicle, when at least one of the first rotary machine and the second rotary machine is operated with a predetermined positive or negative maximum torque, the electronic control unit controls a slip amount of the engaging device by changing the torque capacity of the engaging device.
