摘要： An image recording apparatus which eliminates a positive film for carrying photomasks. The apparatus for recording an image on a recording medium uses a recording media including first and second recording mediums. The first recording medium has first and second surfaces and is provided with a first material whose phase is changeable upon light exposure, and the second recording medium is provided with a second material reactable with the first material for forming a final output image thereon. The image recording apparatus forms light-shieldable masks on the first surface of the first recording medium. A light exposure arrangement confronts the first surface of the first recording medium for irradiating light toward the mask and the first surface. A pressure-developing arrangement provides the output image on the second recording medium. The second surface of the first recording medium carries the first material, and the second material of the second recording medium confronts the second surface of the first recording medium at the pressure-developing means.

摘要： Provided is a method for manufacturing a power storage device in which a crystalline silicon layer including a whisker-like crystalline silicon region is formed as an active material layer over a current collector by a low-pressure CVD method in which heating is performed using a deposition gas containing silicon. The power storage device includes the current collector, a mixed layer formed over the current collector, and the crystalline silicon layer functioning as the active material layer formed over the mixed layer. The crystalline silicon layer includes a crystalline silicon region and a whisker-like crystalline silicon region including a plurality of protrusions which project over the crystalline silicon region. With the protrusions, the surface area of the crystalline silicon layer functioning as the active material layer can be increased.

摘要： An image recording apparatus which records an image of an original document on an image receiving sheet with the use of a photosensitive recording medium, the image receiving sheet having front and rear faces differing in reflection ratio. To detect error in sheet face orientation, a sheet face sensor unit is provided upstream of a pressure developing unit which discriminates a face of the image receiving sheet. The sensor unit includes a light emitting element for emitting light toward the face of the image receiving sheet and a light receiving element for receiving light emitted from the light emitting element and reflected on the face of the image receiving sheet. A central processing unit is supplied with data representative of amounts of light emitted from the light emitting element and light received at the light receiving element, wherein the central processing unit computes a reflection ratio based on the data supplied thereto and produces a discrimination signal indicative of an error in sheet face orientation of the image receiving sheet based on the reflection ratio being computed.

摘要： In an exposure device in an image recording apparatus, a photosensitive recording medium is exposed with light containing an image of an original to thereby form a latent image corresponding to the original. In view of the fact that photosensitivity of the recording medium changes depending upon some factors, such as a temperature of the recording medium per se, an intensity of light irradiated onto the recording medium, the temperature of the recording medium is controlled so that an optimum photosensitivity is obtained. The change of the light intensity is compensated for by changing the temperature of the recording medium. To this effect, the temperature of the recording medium and the light intensity of a light source are sensed and the recording medium is heated by a heater element so as to indicate an optimum photosensitivity.
