摘要： An impact drill minimizing transmission of vibration to a handle gripped by a user's hand. A spindle extends through a main frame and is movable in its axial direction and rotatable about its axis. A first ratchet is rotatable and axially movable together with the spindle. A second ratchet is axially movable but unrotatable. In an impact drilling mode, the first ratchet is brought into abutment with the second ratchet so that the spindle is reciprocally moved in the axial direction.

摘要： A start control apparatus for an internal combustion engine according to the present invention is characterized by that in a port injection type internal combustion engine, fuel is supplied in the interior of a cylinder that is in its compression stroke or expansion stroke upon stoppage of the internal combustion engine, and upon the next start of the internal combustion engine, the fuel in the interior of the aforementioned cylinder is burned to rotate the engine output shaft utilizing the pressure generated when the fuel is burned. Thus, the torque required for cranking the internal combustion engine is reduced and the load applied on a starter apparatus such as a starter motor is reduced.

The contact board, including an annular contact having an arc-segmental portion split by a slit with a predetermined width and signaling contacts disposed at spaced positions and in electrical continuation with the arc-segmental portion, is fixed in a resin molding with the annular contact exposed on the top plane of the resin molding. The elastic contact slides on the contact board along the annular contact. In this rotary electronic component, a stress occurring when the annular contact is fixed by molding on to the contact board is relaxed owing to presence of the slit. Thus, a rotary electronic component generating an electric signal with a stabilized waveform over a long time can be obtained.

摘要： A method and apparatus for continuously finishing hot-rolling steel strips include partially joining a rear end of a preceding steel strip and a leading end of a succeeding steel strip after the strips have passed through a rough hot-rolling step. The joint is flattened. The joint is rolled with a first stand of a tandem rolling mill. The mill is provided with a plurality of stands that includes a pair of work rolls and backup rolls and/or intermediate rolls, so that a compression stress acts at the unjointed section of the strips in the longitudinal direction of the joint while tracking the joint. Shape-control-rolling is performed on the joint with a second and succeeding stands so that a section of the steel strip other than the joint is subjected to the shape-control-rolling at all the stands.

摘要： A heat exchanger for oil from a machine, and particularly from the main spindle system of a machine tool comprises a heat pipe having a heat absorbing portion which is immersed in an oil tank and a heat dissipating portion which is disposed outside the oil tank. An oil guide surrounds the heat absorbing portion and guides hot oil from the machine tool past the heat absorbing portion. A working fluid sealed inside the heat pipe cools the hot oil by evaporation and dissipates the heat to the surrounding air. An oil weir may be disposed at one end of the oil guide so as to maintain an adequate level of oil in the oil guide when the oil level in the oil tank is below the bottom of the heat pipe.
