摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely recover a chemical substance from the soil contg. the chemical substance such as org. solvent by classifying the soil based on the size of the clod to obtain a fraction contg. the concd. chemical substance, separating and recovering the chemical substance from the fraction. SOLUTION: A classifier 1 has a crushing part 2 and a classifying part 3, and the crushing part 2 is provided with a heating wire 4, a water content measuring sensor 5 and a controller 6. Two kinds of screens 7a and 7b are arranged in the classifying part 3 to classify the soil into three fractions. Sampling is conducted with respect to classification tanks 8a to 8c to investigate the preset content of the chemical substance. The fraction judged to be treated is then introduced into a rotary part 10 in a vessel 9 and heated, the vapor of the chemical substance discharged by an exhauster 11 is cooled in a cooler 13, liquefied and introduced into a purifier 14, and the chemical substance is recovered by the activated carbon 15a to 15c.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to separate and recover various kinds of plasticizers from waste plastic by heating halogen-contg. plastic to a temp. lower than a desorption temp. and removing the plasticizers, then adding an alkali thereto, heating the plastic to the temp. lower than a desorption temp. and further decomposing and removing the plasticizers. SOLUTION: The plastic crushed by a crushing device 21 is charged into the cylindrical path 35 of a first plasticizer removing section 23 and is heated by a heater 37 to the temp. lower than the halogen desorption temp. The sublimatable materials are crystallized and separated from the gases within a trap 43. The gases are recovered through the tap 43 by a condenser 45. The plastic is thereafter mixed with the alkali from an alkali adding device 57 and the mixture is heated in the cylindrical path 49 of a second plasticizer removing section 25. The gaseous products are condensed and recovered in a condenser 59. Further the plastic is heated to a temp. at which dehydrohologenation reaction progresses in the cylindrical path 61 of a dehydrohalogenation section 27. The gaseous product of thermal cracking is recovered by a condenser 87 and the residues are discharged outside the device by an ejection device 89.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decompose an org. waste contg. nitrogen or halogen atoms without generating a harmful gas by bringing the waste into contact with a dehydrogenation and/or oxidation catalyst under supercritical water. SOLUTION: An org. waste 1 contg. nitrogen or halogen atoms is charged from a charge section 2 into a rotary section 3 of a rotary kiln and agitated. On the other hand, supercritical water (or a supercritical alcohol) is supplied through a supercritical water inlet port 11 into the rotary kiln. The waste is brought into contact with the supercritical water (or supercritcal alcohol) at 200-350 deg.C for a time wherein the wt. loss of the waste does not exceed 80%, and then the treated waste is temporarily stored in an exit section 4. Thus, the waste is converted into hydrocarbons contg. no nitrogen nor halogen atom and can be reused as a solid fuel, a raw material for various materials, or a raw material for ore smelting, in energy recovery by incineration, as a raw material for thermal decomposition, in making a waste harmless, etc.

SOLUTION: In this method, a waste resin is treated with water in a supercritical state, containing a reaction accelerator such as an acid or base, or heat treated in nitrogen in a supercritical state, pressurized to a critical pressure or higher, thus decomposing the resin into low-molecular-weight components. The equipment is provided with a cooler 17 for cooling a waste resin to make it brittle, a grinding unit 19, a mixer 20 for mixing the ground resin with a reaction medium, a reaction tank 23 for holding a mixed slurry and decomposing the resin by the reaction medium kept in a supercritical state, a separator for separating the reaction medium from the product of decomposition of the resin, and a mechanism for circulating the separated reaction medium.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove and recover metals from polluted soil by arranging electrodes in the metal-containing environments, moving metals toward the electrode sides by generating an electric field, adsorbing the metals with an adsorbent, and taking the metals out of the electrodes. SOLUTION: A pair of spherical electric bulbs 3a, 3b and a d.c. electric power source 5 are so connected as to set the electrode 3a as an anode. The surfaces of the respective electrodes 3a, 3b are covered with a protective film made of unwoven cloth and surrounded with hollow spherical filters 9a, 9b made of a semi-transparent film of a porous material. Filling chambers 11a, 11b are formed between the filters 9a, 9b and the electrodes 3a, 3b and filled respectively with anion-exchange resin 13a and cation-exchange resin 13b. Both electrodes 3a, 3b are arranged in polluted environments and voltage is applied to the electrodes and an electric field is generated between the electrodes 3a, 3b. Consequently, metals are ionized and move toward the electrodes 3a, 3b and captured in the anionexchange resin 13a and the cation-exchange resin 13b. Together with the respective ion-exchange resin 13a, 13b, metals are recovered by operating vacuum pumps 19a, 19b.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an operability and energy efficiency of a thermal decomposition of a plastic and also a quality and recovery ratio of a heat decomposed product. SOLUTION: A plasticizer is removed by bringing a plastic into contact with a material having an absorptivity of the plastic in a heated state. A lead component is removed by using acetic acid and hydrogen chloride. The plastic is thermally decomposed after forming the plastic into thin layers. The molten plastic is heated from the interior. A heated gas having low activities is blown into the molten plastic. The plastic is decomposed by adding a heavy oil or a plastic including no halogen to the molten plastic. The thermally decomposed gas is treated by an active carbon and a hydrogen chloride trapping agent. The thermally decomposed gas is distilled by using a distilling column having plate trays having variable number of penetrating holes.
