    • Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for listening-based transmission. The method is performed at a communications device of a first type with a plurality of beams and operable on an unlicensed spectrum. The method comprises identifying a beam direction for a communications device of a second type when there is data directed to the communications device of the second type and obtaining a backoff counter for the identified beam direction. The method also comprises selecting at least one beam direction for listening during which the backoff counter corresponding to the at least one beam direction is changeable. The beam in each of the at least one beam direction covers at least one communications device of the second type having data directed thereto. The method further comprises scheduling transmission to a communications device of the second type in the identified beam direction when the backoff counter corresponding to that beam direction reaches a certain threshold. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to a corresponding apparatus, and computer program product.

    • Embodiments of the invention generally relate to neighbor cell measurement in a communication network. A method implemented by a first base station of a first operator, the first base station having a first cell identity, comprises: sending, to a first neighbor base station of the first operator, a request for a neighbor cell identity of the first neighbor base station, the first neighbor base station being adjacent to the first base station; receiving, from the first neighbor base station, a second cell identity of a second base station of a second operator, the second operator being different from the first operator, and the second base station being adjacent to the first neighbor base station; and determining the first cell identity at least in part based on the received second cell identity. In this way, an effective and efficient way is provided for a BS of an operator to obtain a cell identity of a further BS of a different operator.

    • One embodiment of the present disclosure relates to a method for use in a terminal device. The method comprises : obtaining signal quality measurements of plural beams; and selecting at least one serving beam from the plural beams depending upon the obtained signal quality measurements and scheduling constraint information of the plural beams. When selecting or reselecting a serving beam for a terminal device, the scheduling constrains applied on the beams/links can be taken into consideration, which may allow an mmW network operating the link-specific coordination to control the probability that a terminal device is served by a coordinated beam on constrained radio resources at a lower level as possible.

    • The present disclosure provides a method in a control entity for allocating resource to a link between an access node AN in communication with the control entity and a terminal device in a coverage of the AN, comprising: configuring a resource allocation template for a group of links in the communication system, wherein the resource allocation template includes reserved resource for the group of links and dedicated resource for the group of links; and transmitting the resource allocation template to an AN which serves at least one of the links in the group, and a control entity using the method. The present disclosure further provides a method in an AN for allocating resource to a link between the access node AN in communication with a control entity and a terminal device in a coverage of the AN, comprising: receiving the resource allocation template for a group of links from the control entity; and performing resource scheduling for a respective link served by the AN according to the resource allocation template, and an AN using the method.
