    • Embodiments of the disclosure generally relate to collision avoidance in a communication network. A method implemented by a device in a wireless communication network comprises: determining a first beam direction with a low interference condition by detecting potential interference associated with first data, the first beam direction being to be used for transmitting the first data; broadcasting a first message indicating the first beam direction for a predetermined time period; and in response to expiration of the predetermined time period, transmitting the first data in the first beam direction. In this way, the collision due to the simultaneous data transmission by a plurality of devices may be avoided.

    • Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for listening-based transmission. The method is performed at a communications device of a first type with a plurality of beams and operable on an unlicensed spectrum. The method comprises identifying a beam direction for a communications device of a second type when there is data directed to the communications device of the second type and obtaining a backoff counter for the identified beam direction. The method also comprises selecting at least one beam direction for listening during which the backoff counter corresponding to the at least one beam direction is changeable. The beam in each of the at least one beam direction covers at least one communications device of the second type having data directed thereto. The method further comprises scheduling transmission to a communications device of the second type in the identified beam direction when the backoff counter corresponding to that beam direction reaches a certain threshold. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to a corresponding apparatus, and computer program product.

    • Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method for coordinating resources among a plurality of operating networks, including a first operating network and a second operating network. The method is performed at a coordination node, which may be a distributed coordination node in the first operating network or a centralized coordination node. The method comprises obtaining a first resource pattern for the first operating network and a second resource pattern for the second operating network. The first resource pattern is coordinated with the second resource pattern such that the first and second operating networks can conduct communications on different resource blocks when the first operating network is synchronized with the second operating network. The method also comprises determining whether the first operating network is synchronized with the second operating network. If it is determined that the first operating network is not synchronized with the second operating network, the method further comprises adjusting at least the first resource pattern such that the first and second operating networks can conduct communications on different resource blocks. Thereby, resource patterns coordinated between different operating networks on an assumption that those networks are synchronized can be adjusted according to synchronization conditions, such that possible interference caused by unsynchronization can be avoided. Embodiments of the present disclosure also relate to a corresponding apparatus, and computer program product.
