    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting composition having stable emission brightness, a light source device using the light-emitting composition and a blue light source, and a display device using the light source device. SOLUTION: The light-emitting composition 38 has a composition expressed by Sr x Ba 2-x SiO 4 : Eu (0≤x≤2) added with a Mg salt and a glass layer 22 formed on the surface of a fluorescent substance 20 emitting green fluorescent light excited by the blue light. The light source device 40 has a first fluorescent substance 20 formed of the glass layer 22 added with the Mg salt, a second fluorescent substance and the blue light source 28 emitting the blue light, and emits white light by mixing the green zone fluorescent light emitted from the first fluorescent substance excited by the blue light, the fluorescent light emitted from the second fluorescent substance excited by the blue light, and the blue light. The second fluorescent substance is a CaAlSiN 3 : Eu fluorescent substance 24 emitting red zone fluorescent light excited by the green zone fluorescent light and the blue light.
